Video: Dyckman Slam Dunk Contest

A high-flying competition went down in Manhattan.

Last week, in between games featuring NBAers from across the country, a slam dunk contest went down at Dyckman Park. The event, won by Anthony “Africa” Primble, featured throwdowns that ranged from average to spectacular. Check the video above for footage, and don’t give up on it…the better dunks are shown a couple of minutes into the vid.

    Glad to see I didn’t miss much not being there. I don’t know how anyone still tolerates the dudes with the mics and a punk like the Heckler falling all over the court with every made dunk. Didn’t that get old after the first And 1 mixtape?
    Extra-Weak sauce. Spiderman did the same dunk twice to reach the finals. Africa’s dunks were nice in comparison, but the other dudes were simple. This summer has provided better contests from high schoolers… Minus the fools falling all over themselves at the three-point line.
