Video: Michael Jordan – Invincible

The epic rise of ‘His Airness.’

You won’t find many Michael Jordan mixes featured on SLAMonline for one reason: It’s difficult to do MJ justice. Well, LK12 certainly gets the nod with his 18-minute (broken into two parts) ode to the Greatest Ever. LK12 took footage of Jordan from the pros, high school and college “to show the rise of the best basketball player, [...] but I wanted to show his problems as well.”

you know the amazing thing about this is you see this your entire life, but it seems we cant get enough..we can see it a million times and moved by it, the connection that he has with us, esp those who never get to see him play is beyond words..if he cries, we cry with him, if he gets mad on the court, we did too.
this is priceless.. this is my theory, why do we stuck and with heartfelt like this guy as a basketball player, not because of ESPN, over hype thingy, but even on tv.. we can sense his sincerity, his burning passion for this game, the hardwork, dedication, he made us believe, a hero is there, even if its just on the court..he never faked it, never took a day off and say “il play so-so”..he embraced the challenges to meet ours which sometimes are too much for us to ask, but he did carry his promises to all of us, and until now, he affects us. that is why i think we will never forget this guy.
he was just built for this. just perfect and real.
then again, its just my theory. anyone with me on this?

Hell naw nobody is with you on that. He was the greatest basketball player ever, but that’s all. He’s arrogant, greedy, mean spirited, rude, and self-centered. He refused to speak on the issue of teens killing each other over his kicks back in the 90′s. In fact, he refused to speak on any social issues. No one is perfect, least of all this douche. MJ is the greatest at basketball, but nothing else. It’s people like you that allow him and other celebrities to believe that they are above reproach.

He knew it was his last game, down by 3, drives in for a lay up on a great defender, steals the ball from Malone, hits a jumper on a great defender. WOW! Talk about, willing your team to a win.

Few mixes can capture the grace and style of MJ like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWvxijHNWB4
