Video: LeBron James in a McDonald’s Commercial

Free fries!

Here’s a new McDonald’s commercial featuring LeBron James, in which a narrator jokingly takes a shot at Bron for saying he’d win all those Championships. Gotta give the man credit for having a solid sense of humor. Then he wins free fries, which is always a good thing. (H/T: AdAge)

    it’s a brilliant strategy by lrmr or w+k or nike or whomever is behind this. bron is spending the summer poking fun at himself so that there won’t be anything left for the haters to say. if you’re a pure bron hater, where’s the fun if he’s laughing too?

    I don´t get why people are joking about the whole championship thing. Lebron has proven that he is highly overrated, and does not have the presence of mind that it takes to dominate a game. Guys like MJ, Bird, Magic, they had that presence of mind, where they´d control the flow of the game, and constantly make things happen on both ends of the floor. Lebron plays the tempo the game is going, he doesn´t take control, because he doesn´t know how, and keeps playing reckless basketball. Wade is even more of the same, so they´re not a good fit on the same team.

    Haters will still hate. However, a big LeBron critique I hear is that he comes off as arrogant. If he’s making fun of himself, it makes him a tad more likeable. This commerical sucks though. His own twitter jab about his hairline were way better than this.

    Another bad PR move, first playing flag football, letting people know your financial adviser is Hebrew and now you are in McDonald’s commercials for monopoly game. McDonald was better having Lebron talk about the dollar menu and how he always have 3 quarters for it, but can never find the 4th quarter to buy in. This is LeCorny and now his marketing team is trying to find ways to change his LeChoke perception, yea a McDonald’s commercial really changes that. LePippen needs to get some better people around him, yes men don’t work. Really people he is making fun of himself in a McDonald’s commercial. WHAT HAS AMERICA COME TO. Lebron please think before doing things for yourself. BOOK IT!!!
