Nice job by Pacers big Roy Hibbert (and former NBAer Detlef Schrempf) during their “Parks & Rec” cameos last night.

    I’ve never seen the show, but I just happened to catch that on tv last night cause we didn’t turn off the tv right after Community like we normally do.
    Thought I’d give it a try. Watched about half of it, but it was too much like a wannabe “Office”.
    Anyways, seeing Hibbert and Schrempf on there was cool though.

    @ Enig – I’ve watched it from the beginning and I thought the same thing initially. It is alot like the Office in that it’s shot like a documentary and they have the “interviews” with the characters and what not, so that annoyed me at first, but I stuck with it for a bit and found that I really enjoyed the characters.

    its nowhere near the same as the office, for one its actually funny. it only shares the same “mockumentary” style.

    I know this is picky but this isnt technically Detlef’s acting debut. He was on the show before. Plus Parks and Rec > Community > The Office. At least, imo.

    Well P&R is developed by the Office’s creators. I haven’t seen that much of P&R (I’m planning to) but the Office is one of the best comedies ever. riggs sucks.
    And Community better than the Office? …

    @Teddy: These days, yeah. The Office in its prime was one of the best shows of all time, but it’s gone downhill. Community is awesome once you watch it long enough to get attached to the characters.

    the office used to be great, but you can start to see it´s in it´s 8th season already.
    parks&rec startet slowly, but seasons 2&3 have been a hilarious.

    You have to watch Community and Parks and Rec from the first seasons to get to k ownthe characters and how awesome they are. I LOVE that whole block with the Office except for 30 Rock which for some reason seems to get all the rewards

    Parks and rec is awesome. Community is better than the office right now, but not at its prime (season 2-3). Amy poehler not winning the emmy is both expected and a travesty.
