Dear Summer: Brandon Jennings
How the Young Buck spent his offseason.
With or without a lockout, it’s undeniable that the summer of 2011 featured plenty of incredible basketball moments. NBA players traveled the world, participated in streetball games and charity events, acted in movies and television shows, took up new hobbies and plenty more, all to enjoy themselves, promote their brands and take their minds off the messy labor negotiations that have clouded the League’s otherwise bright future. Our “Dear Summer” series will be providing video/photo galleries of all of your favorite players’ offseasons, allowing you the opportunity to check out (almost) everything they’ve been up to since the ’10-11 season ended, all in one place. Up next: Milwaukee Bucks point man Brandon Jennings.

For the second year in a row, Brandon Jennings killed the summer circuit and if the above videos are any indication, he’ll be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming season. Showing an improved jump shot, a stronger body and an impressive work ethic, Doo Bee Doo looks determined to earn an All-Star appearance and lead the Bucks back to the Playoffs after his injury-riddled sophomore campaign.
Young Money’s hustle wasn’t strictly basketball-related this summer, though. He also put in time at the Under Armour headquarters, taking on an intern role and working with the creative department, and he even hosted a flag football game for his homies from both Milwaukee and L.A. Click through the gallery above to take in all that Jennings accomplished this offseason.
