Video: Adam Morrison Ejected After a Shoving Match

This is what it’s come down to for Adam Morrison, the former third overall NBA Draft pick, who has let his hair grow out of control, and is shoving random European dudes while playing for a Serbian team.

    @Speedy:
    Yeah.
    So, you are telling me that as long as a Black player produces, he can do what Adam Morrison just did? As the most hated person in the world?
    Come on, man.
    Look, I understand that some people like to act like that this and that isn’t real, and what not… but you know better. I know you do.
    To the rest of my brethren concerning this thread:
    My point is not about who does or who does not produce. My point is that, if Morrison was Black, whether he produced or not, that acture would not be tolerated.
    Name me an incident where a Black player made an attempt at doing what Adam Morrison did.
    And, I’ll shut the hell up about it.
    And, yes, I have been to Europe…

    @Darksaber:
    Now, concerning your 11:57a.m. comment;
    Did any Black player start any trouble during said incident(s that you mentioned)?
    Of course they didn’t. That is why they weren’t “specifically targeted”.
    Anyways, I am intrigued by Jukai’s last statement.
    Would have more respect for you (not that it matters) if you came at me earlier. Our other SLAM brethren must have given you a little confidence.
    And, please do not try to use an excuse such as, “you didn’t see my comments until later on”, or, whatever…
    That was a cowardice move on your part, my good brother.

    You don’t get it Philo.
    Period.

    Maybe I don’t.
    I just know only what I’ve seen, and what I’ve experienced.

    Or, what I’ve not seen…

    Nice try Philosopher, pick a point out of the whole answer then ask for ‘proof’. Well going by your original post which got a few here going, a black Adam Morrison would have been jumped by HIS fans, the refs and maybe even the announcer if he had dared to shove an opponent in the heat of the game? U do recognize that Adam was playing at home right and what you originally assumed was nonsense?
    So because the chinese team (Bayi Rockets) lost their damn minds against Georgetown now everytime a dark skinned player flips out or defends himself aggressively we should expect arena-wide anarchism?
    As for your demand, remember when SRB and GRE went at it last summer? Nenad’s chair throwing episode? Schortsanitis, good ‘ol baby Shaq, was at one point pummeling a player on the ground (THAT was a disgrace by Sofo). Didn’t see any fans etc try to enter the fray there bud. Sorry i don’t have more examples off the top of my head where EU-fans collectively decided to “jump the black dude’s ass” cause his actions cannot be tolerated.
    How about you give us an example of racist european fans attacking a player on their own team during a bball game
    because he humiliated the game, as you put it?

    I went over board saying that the entire world would jump on him if he was Black.
    I did.
    All that I’m saying is that, it wouldn’t have been tolerated. All kinds of phone calls would be coming down. That’s all I’m saying.
    But yes, I was a nut for saying that the whole arena would jump him. I guess people really took that a bit seriously.
    My bad.
    I’ll say that… the REACTION from the people that matter would be “different”. All the way to the press.

    It’s cool, Philo. Guess most here were just reacting to your initial comment, and i for one didn’t like the generalisation. Of course there are racists everywhere, EU or USA.
    Hopefully not race-related but super tragic nonetheless, i just read on Eurobasket that a US player (Chauncy Hardy)was jumped in a bar in Romania after a game and beaten to death.
    Hope they catch those bastards who did it.

    Philosopher, you are so wrong. I am from Serbia, and I can give you an example. Few years ago Red Star (the same team) signed Tunji Avojobi. You can guess by his name that he is not white. :)
    In the finals, he wasn’t agreed with some decision made by the referee, and he went to the line of free throw, and he didn’t want to move from there. So the visiting team couldn’t get a free throw, and nobody wanted to argue with him, because, he was an ex boxer. Not only the fans didn’t throw the cell phones, seats, or anything, they strongly back him up. They even sing a song for him! Now, I don’t have the clip from that incident, but this is from the same game! So, you are very, very wrong!
    The whistles are ment for the referees, and you can hear at the end of the clip ,,Tunji Avojobi ooooooo”, so the fans are chanting his name!

    and this is from the same game, and again, they are chanting his name!

    @Spaceship: Appreciate the insight.
    Appreciate your tolerance to my ignorance.
    @Dex:
    Understood, my good brother. Understood.
    And, maybe I am wrong. I’d hope that I would be wrong in every one of my accusations of racism, you know?
    But one question;
    Did the fellow ball player wrongly exact, or procure any acture of physical aggression toward another fellow?

    I had no idea Darksaber was black. Lol.

    From the motherland, Allen. :-)
