Video: Adam Morrison Ejected After a Shoving Match

This is what it’s come down to for Adam Morrison, the former third overall NBA Draft pick, who has let his hair grow out of control, and is shoving random European dudes while playing for a Serbian team.

Atleast he’s got that old college passion back.

  • Seriously

Come on, whats the difference between him playing in Europe and e.g Gallinari playing in Europe.. These are the best fans in the world that he is playing for, just look at the atmosphere..

  • Leoni

I wish that the NBA fans had that much passion…It can be a sold out crowd, a playoff game, yet all you get is the occasional “d-fence” chant, it’s sad really.

  • Chris

Looks like he came straight outta Pirates of the Caribbean

  • AT33

That’s one of the best clubs in Europe he’s playing for!!! Dang.. he’s gonna kill the Euro-league this year! I’m happy he found a good club to show the world he can still ball. Good job!

  • robb

he looks just like Andrew W.K. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_W.K.

  • MikeC.

Looks like they have weights in Serbia. Morrison has some muscles now.

  • http://www.twitter.com/dfrance21 dfrance21

There had to be something before that cuz Morrison instigated that whole thing. And his hair is ridiculous.

  • http://staticseth.blogspot.com Seth

Atmosphere at basketball games over there… totally different than the NBA :O

  • MUBWAR

these fans have the same passion as those soccer nutcases

  • BEN ZONAH

At least he looks European now

  • aussieballer

that crowd is incredible… up 20 in a regular season game, and they’re still going crazy!! If that we’re an NBA game, half the crowd wuld’ve already been leaving to try and beat the traffic!

  • http://slamonline BossTerry

Getting ejected- So easy, a caveman can do it…

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    You go, girl!

  • RaZkOL

He’s just mad he’s not in the NBA so he pushed that poor man.

  • Greg

That hair is awesome, what are you talking about?

    Roids would explain

    a) the new muscles

    b) the anger

    Me likey.

  • Euroguy

Now thats what they call a “friendly” game over here. Do you realise it was just a test match? :D hahahahahaha! i like.

  • J.C.

    European fans be crazy.

  • http://www.optimabbc.be Max

    JESUS!

  • Euroguy

btw, thats not a random european dude. thats a 19 year old german ;-)

  • http://fivemag.de Speedy

    Total overreaction.
I mean his team is up by twenty.
It seams as he starts to cry after coach Pesic says something to him when he sits down.

  • http://fivemag.de Speedy

    It’s a friendly match.
    Nothing on the line.

  • http://bedotwater.bandcamp.com BE.water

Im sayin, dude was lookin mighty strong out there. lol

  • Dr. DL

I agree, Morrison looks pretty buff. And I think the hair is badass. I always liked his game and his passion so I was really bummed when he washed out of the NBA. It’s great to see he is playing some meaningful ball these days; he’s a talented dude. I’m still surprised no NBA team wants him. He has a very advanced offensive game even though he really isn’t built to be a first option. But he can absolutely do the same things as rangy SF’s with solid handles like Turkoglu or Dunleavy. I was also blown away by the fan energy in that arena. That was soccer hooligan level intensity. I wish NBA games were like that. Guys who play overseas during the lockout just might get a taste of that fervor and decide to stay put.

  • David Moore

This is the Adam Morrison we needed in the NBA.

  • http://slamonline.com Ugh

Hell yeah! Muscles, the hair, the passion, the crowd eating it up and hollering. Ammo lives!

  • http://slamonline.com Ugh

@Enigmatic – Did you just call Ammo a girl because he has long hair? Were you born in 1935 or something?

  • dahon

    2 nba rings…hes a champ

  • TruthHurts

    Co-sign Ugh.

  • Jerome

Nice. He’s got more going than most NBAers. 2 rings and a league to play in. Jee-zuss walks!

  • LOL@Morrison

LMAO He’s acting all tough since their is no sign of any black guys on the court. If Kobe or even Jason Collins were there, he would be acting all shy and awkward.

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

BAYERN MÜNCHEN *clap, clap, clappity, clap*
(nice arms btw, ammo. ‘Roid up much?)

  • http://slamonline.com The Philosopher

The highlight… of his entire professional career.
    What a damn shame.
One of the greatest busts of all time.

  • http://slamonline.com The Philosopher

Oh and, if he was Black, the whole arena, including his teammates AND the ref(s) would have jumped on his ass.

  • Euroguy

i strongly disagree. him to be playin there, gettin all the love. new country, new people, new language…thats all an incomparable experience. he should love every minute of it and i am sure he does. some things money cant buy – for all the other things in life theres masterc.. oh uh the NBA :D

  • Euroguy

@Philosopher´s 2nd post: WHAT? how the hell do you come up with that?!?!?!? he is wearing the red star jersey. end of story. color of skin doesnt matter.
in fact color dont matter half as much over here than it does in the states (that would be funny if it werent so sad).

  • http://sajkflf.com Jukai

I gotta say, Morrison looks freaking thuggish now that he left the states. Muscles, long greased hair, creepy goatee. Damn.

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

Word to Euroguy: if you produce on the court in Belgrade, they will luv ya. Skincolour be damned.
Ask Bo McCalebb how the Arena was chanting his name when he led Partizan to the Euroleague semis 2 seasons ago.

  • http://slamonline.com The Philosopher

All of that “if you produce” is cute for the guy with the colored skin.
As long as he doesn’t do what Morrison did.
Mocking the situation as he humiliates himself AND the game.
    Would NOT have been tolerated.
    Not even for a second.

  • http://fivemag.de Speedy

The Philosopher really thinks that he knows what he is talking about. Are you from Europe?
If you don’t produce your skin can be as white as it goes you will be chanted out of the stadium.

  • http://www.danchamb.com.br Lz – Cphfinest3

This is real fans, the people who fill NBA arenas are sad excuses for fans. Philosopher you are in over your head, it is all about the color of the jersey, not the skin. Focusing on race/color at every turn just help feed the beast that is racism. People are people, stop focusing on negative angles.

  • http://Www.fiba.ch Darksaber

Oh please, i’m black and played in Europe and in my prime i was the loudest mouth on the court. Mostly cause i could back it up and also out of overconfidence/natural bravado.
Been in tussles, bench clearers and iffy situations with road crowds: never got boo’d cause of my skin colour. There where a few race-related issues, but NEVER in a group situation. Most were negative reactions by individuals.
So to just lump the Belgrade crowd (how dumb was that original statement by Philosopher; Adam plays for them!) or any Euro crowd into the ‘racist’ group was just wrong.
I watch Euro comp, a lot. And even during Some of the worst altercations in recent years (Greek finals, Olymp fans vs.Pana team or Pre-WC brawl between SRB & GRE for example) black players were not specifically targeted.

  • Pedestrian Nightmare

Philosopher, you have no idea … cosign Euroguy, race is much more an issue in the US

  • Brooks C.

    Russell Branyon plays basketball 2?

  • idrees

i haven’t heard anything about him since the lakers…

  • TruthHurts

Wow, lost all respect for “the philosopher” on that one.
    Co-sign Speedy.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    @Ugh -”Ammo”? Really?
    Wow….

  • http://twitter.com/BeezKneezy LA Huey

You can call these fans “great” if you want. I would not take my kids to see a game in the same stands as these types.

  • http://dafklfl.com Jukai

The Philosopher is making stuff up again?
    Wow.
    Shocking.

  • duhwinning
