Video: Dwight Howard in Call of Duty Commercial

The Magic center is a n00b in this ad spot.

Here’s a new ad for popular video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which features Dwight Howard firing his weapon wildly alongside Jonah Hill and Sam Worthington, who look down on the Magic center’s amateurish behavior. (Hill and Worthington get a lot more face time in this vid.) COD: MW3 hits stores Tuesday.

    BTW – I remember when that first Call of Duty Modern Warfare came out, I was still in the military at the time, and y’all wouldn’t BELIEVE how many kids would go into recruiters offices wanting to be Marine snipers or Marine Recon based off playing that game, lol it was kinda sad.

    Word up, he lost the weight, but he shoulda at least kept the Jew-fro. That still would’ve added some much needed comedic visuals. Did love Dwight wilding with the burner at the end of this commercial. Really unexpected and much appreciated.

    Dwights hilarious, i did not recognize jonah hill the first time i saw this on tv…im just wondering why when kobe did this commercial last year there was such an uproar about him shooting a gun, but now dwight does it and nothing…i guess we’re finally growing up as a society?!

    It is time for this fu(king lockout to end… In the beginnning, I was on the players side.. I don’t go to games in hopes of seeing Paul Allen, or the Maloof brothers eating nachos, I want to see the athletic talent.. But when its all said and done, an employee’s boss should/will always make more than the them… I do great things at my job, but my boss pockets the $$ so….. Lets have a effing season eh??

    @Teddy and datkid – I mean, did they become snipers and Recon?
    Hell no.
    It takes a hell of a lot more than being good at some video game to be able to do the real thing.
    I couldn’t do it.
    Man, them snipers will sit in a position for HOURS just for a chance to MAYBE take out a target.
    No food, no sleep, you sh*t and you urinate right where you lay. Can’t move.
    They’re crazy.
    But a lot of them kids were talked out of their crazy aspirations and realized that either the real thing was nothing like the video game and they’d be better off not joining, or that there’s other things they can do in the Marines that they might like.
    Also, I give mad props to Sam Worthington for his portrayal of a Marine in Avatar.
    Seriously, he nailed what most of us Marines are really like.
    Him and Stephen Lang both. They were just on point.
