    Always cool to see, Russell Westbrook and Drose, two ‘rivals’ on the court, working out together every summer since they came into the league and now KD and LeBron also ‘rivals’on the court. Always nice to see these kind of videos.

    @illwill: you can’t expect him to just stop working on the skills that got him where he is today. Plus come on, do you really think this short video clip is the same workout he’s done all summer???? Smh, his workouts and drills are more than just video clips

    You can’t just ignore your other skills and focus strictly on one (post) skill. You don’t become a complete basketball player by doing that.

    Just a different observation…ever notice that Kobe never documents his workouts? While its cool to see these different forms of conditioning drills and skill developement, it seems like its all just for show.

    Kobe never documents his workouts, what about the video of him and Olujowan working out. How about the time Kobe ‘called’ the media when he was shooting after the Heat game. Kobe definitely loves that attention.

    Yeah! showoffs. Running sprints, lifting weights and working on drills just because the cameras were there. I bet that’s the first time either guy has picked up a weight or shot a jumpshot in their lives.
    I’m pretty sure the cameras were there when Kobe was working with the Dream and who’s to forget the infamous workouts after losing to Miami.

    Im surely not defending LeBron or Durant’s decision to record their workout nor am I saying Kobe has never done so either. Just an observation on how the era we live in has changed. As a professional in the field, I appreciate it when high caliber ball players engage in sophisticated workouts. Check out the Nuggets performance/strength trainer Steve Hess!!! He actually gets you excited to workout bye watching his videos with the Nuggets! I also wonder how Melo’s conditioning will be affected by a full season out of their training program.

    This is why I couldn’t cut it in basketball once I got to high school. I love the game but hate working out and doing drills. Props to anyone with that kind of dedication and work ethic when it comes to sports.

    watching these guys go back and forth shooting, the difference in effort in their strokes couldn’t be more clear. KD’s just got the most effortless release, Lebron just doesn’t seem to have a shooting motion.

    Co-sign LA Huey… I hate working out too. Basketball-related drills are okay, like shooting drills, etc., but pure running drills are just a pain.

    Love the insight, good to see the differant varietys of drills… on another note i want to know what these guys take (supplement wise) to recover after a weights session, to be able to do oncourt workouts afterwards!! im tired an sore as a mother after lifting…
