    That’s why I hate that stupid restricted semi circle. It’s a bailout for players and refs alike. A charge/block is very seldom as simple as, “are his feet in front of a line” Like yall said, he slid over late, wasn’t completely set AND the dunk was insane!

    It was a tough call, but the charge block line is a good thing. You don’t just get a charge because you’re outside the line, there is a lot more that goes into it.

    That dunk was brilliant but Gerald Wallaces Defense was just as good. perfect position just outside the circle, set his feet late enough that evans couldn’t avoid him and fell back with the contact. that was a great call by the ref

    Naw, I watched over and over. Wallace was in motion pulling his right leg back, this was a case of seasoned vet getting a call over an unknown guy like Evans!

    Being stationary is an old requirement (and current NCAA requirement) for a charge. You just need to be square with the offensive player, and take the hit in the center of the body in the nba
