Happy Bornday, DWade!

Dwyane Wade turned 30 years old today, but the big celebration kicked off well before that.

  • http://nba.com GP23

    ^ He was filming it..

  • kwamepooh

did he say rick ross one of the greatest rappers of all time ?! smh

  • BasketballJunkie

@GP23 LOL! or they locked him in the car on accident….

  • T-Ray

If Rick Ross is one of the greatest rappers of all time then Professor Klump is the best teacher of all time.

  • cecil

damn kelly rowland seems tall as hell. even without heels

  • Bravo

Man dwade must b killing gave union kitty kat lucky dude

  • http://slamonline.com/ Ryne Nelson

Co-sign, T-Ray. I was really hoping Wade wouldn’t say that.

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

was this before or after he hurt his ankle?
And Rick Ross was called one of the greatest rappers of all time from Dwyane Wade, the utmost authority on rap music. lol

i like ross and we all know wade is just trying to make his local miami rapper and spender to keep coming to the games front seat.

  • http://slamonline house

Rick Ross is not great, he isn’t even good and even that is a stretch….these people have too much money and not enough taste/musical sense.

  • Kadavour

Any person that would cosign Rosay as the greatest rapper of all time deserves to be shot simultaneously in both temples at close range. That guy is PURE garbage.

  • bike

I don’t know that much about Rick Ross but this much is truth–I would not want to be behind that guy when he breaks wind.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com/ O

I’m the biggest hip-hop critic out this b*tch, but even I have to give Rick Ross his props. Sure he was a correctional officer, but dude can spit. Now, is he top anything of all-time? MAYBE top 25. But he ain’t cracking the top 10 by no stretch of the imagination…

  • bike

And in other related news, Greg Oden celebrated his 56th birthday today.

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

I enjoy some of Ross’ music, but he ain’t making any all-time lists. and he shouldn’t he’s only really been around for like 6 years.

  • http://www.nba.com Gman

lol his opinion on Rick Ross is funny, but noone on this boards opinion is any better.

  • Maniac

@O that just goes to show that you aren’t “the biggest hip-hop critic out this b*itch” because any halfway intelligent hip-hop head wouldn’t even consider to place Ross in the top 25. SMH. I like Ross, but dude is irrelevant to rap and it’s history. Period. Wtf Wade?

  • http://www.slamonline.com Slick Ric

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

I’m not even gonna trip @ Maniac or Slick Ric for trying to imply that i’m not a halfway intelligent hip-hop head. I should’ve been more clear. In a day when “hip-hoppers” include rappers like Lil Wayne in any all-time list, then Ross should be considered too. Now a old school head like myself, Wayne, Ross, Drake, 50 – these cats wouldn’t crack my top 50. But I grew up on Rakim, Kane, Gheto Boys and was knee deep in the streets by the time Big, Nas, Pac, Wu, Snoop and half of Queensbridge was dominating the airwaves and mixtapes. So my comment was really for todays “hip-hoppers.” Not the real heads…

  • MLK4Life

Ross was the 3rd best rapper at that party.

  • http://bedotwater.bandcamp.com BE.water

Yeah, O. I know you got that hip hop flavor cause Enig does too. Rick Ross is one of todays better rappers, and that is just sad.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

Exactly BE. water. I mean, I like T.I., but he ain’t all that either. He just knows how to make good overall songs with catchy hooks and ish. But the era of a TRUE MC seems to be long gone. Not because heads ain’t trying, but because labels and label execs determine who gets on the radio with what material.

  • http://www.kb24.com The Seed

Who cares, where is Bosh he believes in Wade as the closer. No wonder this team doesn’t work down the stretch. No offense your teammate being your best friend is not a good look to me. BOOK IT!!

  • Robin

Kobe must be laughing his ass off right now. lmao

  • http://slamonline house

My money is on Bosh being in the ladies room powdering his nose

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com Enigmatic

LOL @ Slick Ric and Maniac.
You know, between you two and O, only one of y’all has ever written rap album reviews for XXL.
    Hmmm…wonder which one?
I’m not a Ross fan at all, but he aight.
Which is better than the wackness polluting our ears nowadays.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com Enigmatic

And Alexander Supertramp, hurry the f*ck up and drop and album with you rapping on it so we can spotlight it on our site fam.

  • http://www.t-mac.com/tmac/index unf*ckwitable

@Enigmatic, If Nas tried to tell me Ross was dat dude i would seriously consider calling him a fool and trying to slap him.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com/ O

LOL @ Enig. Good lookin’ homie. Unf*ckwitable, did you already forget that Nas once said DRAKE was that dude that was going to take hip-hop to the next level??

  • http://www.t-mac.com/tmac/index unf*ckwitable

I didnt even know it to begin with O. Nas is a legend in my eyes, illmatic is the sickest alnum ever imo but that dont mean im gonna agree with everything he says. Just like i respect your hip hop knowledge but i cant agree with Ross being considered anything other then a decent rapper for his time.

  • http://www.t-mac.com/tmac/index unf*ckwitable

“Sometimes I wish it was dead, rather than look this stupid alive”

  • Maniac

My fault O. Thanks for clearing that up. I see now. I thought you were on of those type of guys that claimed to know real hip-hop, but really didn’t know squat about anything before 2000. @MLK4Life yeah Common and Tip were there. While TI isn’t all that great, he sh*ts on Ross as an emcee.

  • Maniac

And also, Nas says a lot of sh*t that shouldn’t be taken for face value. I like Ross’s music (most of it) and i’ll leave it at that. Drake is dope when he wants to be.

  • http://slamonline BossTerry

Heres my 2 cents.. Rap sucks.. It wasn’t ALWAYS this way, but (IMO) as soon as 50 cent was “the big thing”, It died to me… Shout out to- Pac,Wu Tang,Def Squad,Big,Alakaholiks,Nas,Goodie Mob,Outkast,Snoop,Dre,Cube,Slim,Xzibit,Roots,Tribe,De La… All the Greats STILL on my Ipod reminding me of my youth…
