Video: Kobe Bryant Off-the-Backboard Assist to Himself

Look ma, no teammates.




People have complained about Kobe’s passing (or lack thereof) throughout his 16 seasons in the L, but they clearly don’t know what they’re talking about. Because Bryant is great at passing the rock … to himself.

    Kobe with the trademark self assist. I remember the first time he did it against Houston. Yao Ming contested the layup and he still got it through.
