Video: Vince Carter Dunks on Emeka Okafor

Dunking like it’s 1999.

At times this season, Vince Carter’s looked sluggish. Not tonight, though. In the midst of a 13-point effort, VC let Emeka Okafor know that, now and again, he can still dunk.

    BOINGGGGG!
More please, VC. Dirk’s in a shooting slump (no coincidence he’s been wearing a knee sleeve the last two games, i reckon), Lamar is still crying in his sleep, others have to step up.
So far Mahinmi has used his increased role the best.

nice use of a crab dribble

  • Joey E. Posted: Jan.8 at 5:09 pm
Traveling? You need to check your eyes, son. I didn’t even make the Okafor/Kobe connection, but lol. They pick their targets.

  • James Aka... Posted: Jan.8 at 5:30 pm
The move wasn’t even close to a travel, not even close. he moves hist pivot foot a few inches when he was setting the move up, but in the NBA that hasn’t been called since about 1978

  • Leif Posted: Jan.8 at 5:57 pm
Kobe’s was much more filthy than this, but still. Love when the old VC comes out to play!

  • unf*ckwitable Posted: Jan.8 at 8:02 pm
Cosign James aka, only hint of a travel is when his pivot foot slides a bit. The dribble and pick up were sweeeeet.

  • Bmack Posted: Jan.8 at 8:18 pm
As a long time VC fan, this makes me so happy.

  • robb Posted: Jan.8 at 8:35 pm
    Oooooooooh yeah niiiiice

  • BE.water Posted: Jan.9 at 12:34 am
No, I KNOW there’s no travel. I saw a comment that said that…but its not there anymore. the F**k?

  • Orange Posted: Jan.9 at 5:14 am
    Yoosh!

  • josh Posted: Jan.9 at 8:15 am
He moves his pivot three times! That is a travel.

  • Tarzan Cooper Posted: Jan.9 at 8:51 am
All those wasted years in jersey.

  • logues Posted: Jan.9 at 12:43 pm
ya he slid both of his feet about three times when he was palming the ball with one hand

  • Bruce Posted: Jan.9 at 4:09 pm
Anyone that doesn’t think he traveled is crazy. VC dragged both of his feet several times. I love the, not even a hint of a travel comment. Must be biased of the Mavericks.

  • Mike From Spain Posted: Jan.10 at 9:17 am
I say it’s a travel, moved the pivot foot

  • Justin G. Posted: Jan.10 at 10:54 am
He’s not dragging his pivot foot. He’s moving on the ball of his foot. It’s not a travel
