Kobe, Durant, CP3, DWill and more…

With the All-Star break in arms reach, NBA teams are in a hurry to iron out kinks, develop chemistry and get physically and mentally prepared for the last stretch of this grueling, truncated season. And last night, 11 games and countless players brought us an insane, highlight-filled night of hoops. The (shorthanded) San Antonio Spurs quietly won their 11th straight, while Derrick Rose returned to the tune of 23-6-5 in a relatively easy win vs. Atlanta and the Dallas Mavericks rebounded from Sunday’s loss to New York with a quick dispatching of the Boston Celtics, as Jason Kidd and Dirk Nowitzki rewrote history. Kidd surpassed Michael Jordan for 2nd all-time in steals with 2,517, while Dirk leaped Robert Parish for 20th on the all-time scoring list (23,354 points) and also recorded his 1,000th block. Oh, and Deron Williams went bonkers at MSG, wetting eight 3′s en route to 38 points and the W. We’ve got five more games tonight, including 76ers-Grizz and Spurs-Blazers, but before you move forward, take a step back and relish in the plethora of dunks, assists, blocks and steals above.
