Video: Blake Griffin Posterizes Pau Gasol … Again

BG refuses to leave the Lakers big man alone.

It hasn’t been a very good night for Pau Gasol so far, as he has been humiliated on two occassions by an airborne Blake Griffin. (On the second dunk, though, the Clipper star should probably have been called for an offensive foul, as Griffin clearly elbowed Pau in the head.)

Off arm elbow in the face= offensive foul= NEXT

  • shutup

The rule goes if he doesnt extend the arm and its not unnatural to his body motion then its not a foul besides the arm was out before Pau jumped. Pau was not standing still but coming forward, its unfortunate that he caught it to the grill, but all those claiming it was a foul got some serious hate issues. As for the mean mugging…really guys, if you pulled that off on a nerf hoop on one of your buddies you’d be “posturing” too, eh, maybe thats just me. I for one loved Vince’s after dunk antics. One last note, if Blake keeps doing what he’s doing by the end of his career rings or not he will double or triple his career earnings vs Gasol.

did no one else notice bynum’s ridiculous facial expression on the replay??

in the end the best team won. We here in LAKER land only get excited with parades. Everything else is for the other teams fans to enjoy before the inevitable… “maybe next year”.

Gotta love Bynum, making fun of his own teammate. But guess who was guarding Griffin at the beginning of the play?….Andrew Bynum. smh.

  • robb

Nice elbow. Try to remember what you do to others the next time you flop.

  • BuzzerBeater

Just want to get peoples opinion on this if Pau had a poor defense switching late, or should Kobe/Bynum get the blame how they defended the pick and roll?

This shows more of immature Bynum is. I think this should have been a foul but was still an awsome dunk. Too bad players feel such a need to mean mug etc. and then miss the free throw afterwards.

Then he wonders why people hit him so damn hard.

  • trusoldier77

whether is was a foul or not it was and awesome play but he is just a one trick pony. the lakers got the w and thats whats important coming down to a tight playoff race.

    dam just dam…

I’m not sure, but I think Blake may want to trade places with Pau come playoff time. Blake should have been given a technical as well.

  • JMS

OK, so really not a fan but whats with the shove from his own teammate??

@eyal I checked that out and got a screen shot of Bynum looking like he was amused (loL) at the sight of (his teammate) Pau Gasol getting dunked on by Blake Griffin. Click my name to see it. :D

i just knew I would see douchebags in here calling it a OFFENSIVE foul…you guys should play basketball more often… is blake supposed to ALLow Pau Gasol to Flagrant 1 foul him? no, the aggressor always wins. shame on you, Gasol, for getting dunked on twice.

  • Shecky Shabazz

@i am you… I see what you did there

    Brad Long WINS THE THREAD,
shutup wins the argument, though. He knows what an offensive foul is.
