Video: Russell Westbrook Dunks All Over Omer Asik

The Bulls big man might find himself on tonight’s highlight reel.

The halfcourt alley-oop we posted earlier may have already filled the Thunder’s daily highlight quota, but that didn’t stop Russell Westbrook from adding just one more. Watch him put center Omer Asik on a poster above.

    Quickly turning into one of my fav players to watch. Nothing beats the swagger he had after that monstrous 3Q against the Lakers. Hits the buzzer and does the “guns on fire” routine. Too much.

    As a bulls fan, I can’t tell you how happy I slept in late today. I didn’t watch the game but i’m going to take an educated guess and say we could of used Rose. Also in the highlight above, I don’t know if Asik’s gotta man up more, or he was just suprised by how explosive Westbrook is. Either way he’s gonna see that one for awhile.

    @ Seed – I’ve been telling EVERYONE the same thing for a minute. Not to take anything away from Durant, but Westbrook has an athletic edge on 95% of the PGs in the league … so he needs just as many shot attempts as Durant. Plus he draws fouls on bigs all the time and that helps OKC since they shoot well from the line as well. Now that he’s passing and hitting his mid range jumper, he will be cooking suckas for a minute. And to think, Westbrook, Harden and Durant are all under 25?! That’s straight trouble for the entire league …
