Video: LeBron James Laughs in Kevin Garnett’s Face

You mad, Kevin Garnett?

It had become clear by this point that Boston was no match for Miami in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, so Kevin Garnett decided to send LeBron James a little message (with promises after the game for much more of the same next time out.) James’ response was telling: He simply, and dismissively laughed in his foe’s grill.

    it was such an interesting moment. lbj was standing up to kg and belittling him at the same time. you also felt lebron’s SIZE standing next to him. kg became this tall skinny guy with an attitude/chip on his shoulder who was not going to be able to back up whatever nonsense he was saying.

    My fav technical has to be Sheed from a while back. He got T’d up for staring down a ref. Can’t rem who the ref was but he called a foul on Sheed and as Sheed made his way to bench, he eyeballed him the whole way without a word and got hit with the T for trying to intimidate the ref.

    Fav 3 second call was Ricky Davis/Dajuan Wagner ? from the old Cavs days. His shoe came off while he was cutting through the paint and he stopped to put it back on and was hit the 3 second call. Zebras are funny dudes.

    By not making eye contact, it’s not considered taunting another player. And therefore, spares him a technical. It’s why Mutombo was allowed to wag the finger to the crowd but not towards another player.

    I really wish the Sunday at the park trash talk was allowed in the NBA again. Long as there’s no derogatory remarks, or racial slurs or profanity it should be allowed.

    case in point Jeremy lin emerges over night sensation, press asked D.Rose what he thought about him, a ball players response would have been he’s nothing to me ask him how he feels about me, but rose said the scripted NBA response, well he is a really good player and I hope to be at my best when I play the Knicks.

    Thank you, LA Huey. Do people really think Lebron didn’t look at KG because he was scared? Really?? That’s the difference between what Lebron did and what Gordon Hayward did. Lebron stood his ground laughing, almost daring KG to escalate it, which he didn’t. Gordon Hayward walked away without making eye contact acting like he didn’t know what was going on, then turned in West’s general direction to talk smack when he was safely 15 feet away. You don’t need to punch a bully in the face to prove your point, you just can’t back down.
