Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin Endorse NBA 2K13 (VIDEO)


The NBA 2K video game franchise tabbed Kobe, DRose and Blake Griffin to begin the commercial rollout for the latest version of the popular game.

    i like how before 2k12 came out every one was one here talking about how they couldn’t wait and making all these leagues. then like 3 weeks later everyone was talking about how much the game sucks adn u can run a fast break etc.

    Cut down on the CPU Hakeem-like pump fakes/post moves
    Improve ballhandling
    Improve players ability to make a simple layup around traffic
    Bring back off-the-ball screens and quick PnR
    Cut down on the CPU’s ability to block shots (Luke F*cking Walton blocked a fadeaway once)
    Realistic speed settings (Andrew Bynum should not be able to keep up with CP in the open court)

    With this lineup this must be a knee injury simulation. Visit german doctors. Tear your acl in the air. And just plain break your knee on the first dunk you do. I am curious about nba live. 2k12 was a let down to me. Looks like lbj is going to be on the cover of nba live. Kd was ij the elite one so he could be the one aswell.

    My 2k12 still freezes at the loading screen and it doesn’t have a single scratch. I wouldnt accept a free copy of 2k13.

    NBA Live looks better from a player/arena standpoint but the jerseys look glued on and they can’t stand up straight lol I might just buy both though cuz I was a Live man before 2k.

    Lol I was like huh? If any of you don’t know you can go on Youtube and find some screenshots from NBA Live 13. I saw some game play from 2k13 and I’m not impressed. Hopefully it was just a template.

    I’ve bought 2k the last 3 years..but uhm NBA Live 13 is looking better guys..which I can’t believe I’m admitting.

    Word to TRay. The 2k series is a broken series, period. It’s forever going to be plagued by technical/gameplay issues. It looks like EA is making a concerted effort to revamp the Live series. The animations look great and the new game engine they’re using looks spectacular. At the very least, EA is the company that gave us FIFA, which is probably one of the best sports simulation games I’ve personally ever played. Live is worth a pickup, I hope it blows 2k’s marketshare, with regards to basketball games, up.

    I just wish you can put the All time greats on one team like in 2K11.It really disappointed me that you were unable to do that in 2K12.Also I have the Warriors91 and Kings 01 playbooks but can’t play with the teams in 2K12.Is NBA Live back? I made the switch 2 years ago after buying NBA Live since 95.i think the game play is better on 2K.

    Agreed the gameplay is/was better. BUT that new playmaking system for Live looks great.

    There was one small gameplay video for 2k13 not revealing any of the major new features/improvements while NBA Live 13 basically showed its whole hand (innovative passing). 2k has been known to release big content later on… Now, I’m going to buy both games, but I’m pretty sure that 2k is going to be better.

    “Luke F*cking Walton blocked a fadeaway once”. That made me crack up. For some reason Trevor Ariza would always torch me for at least 30 points and go 8/10 from distance – including shooting 3s through my players’ hands. Bargnani kills me also – never misses a field goal.

    Also think about the commentary for Live though. EA has a license with ESPN, that means that they’ll have Jeff Van Gundy, Mike Breen and whoever else doing the commentary. I don’t know about you guys but that sounds significantly better to me than Kevin Harlan and Clark Kellog.

    2k12 was terrible for me until I adjusted the sliders (found online). Why the developers can’t at least get close to that from the get go is a mystery to me.
