Video: Rajon Rondo Criticizes Miami Heat for ‘Crying’ to Refs

Shots fired.

Referees have played an unfortunately large role in the Eastern Conference Finals. Rajon Rondo acknowledged as much, by taking time during both the in-game and postgame interviews last night to call out the Miami Heat for trying to moan and cry their way to favorable calls.

    Rondo is learning from “The Truth” how to become a vocal leader. He has a point and the Pacers coach does too. Bithcing and acting…sounds like the old 90′s Heat teams. IF Bosh is ready for game 5…Game Over. But 100% Bosh will “cry” at one point or another in these playoffs.

    He kept it 100. I’m a heat fan and it hurts my soul to see Dwade not even fake hustle on defense when he thinks he got effed on a call. Its really sad and its gotten worse over the years.

    Every play complains (even Rondo) But nobody complains like LBJ and Wade (I’m surprised they don’t get more techs)I know it kills Pat Riley when he’s see’s his best 2 players complain over a call and not get back on defense.

    This from a guy who everytime he thinks he gets fouled has something to say to the ref, who tried to kick battier when a call didn’t go his way, stares down refs and let’s not forget throws balls at them

    Rondo is talented but anybody who watches basketball, will say that the Celtics cry the most over fouls. If the celtics lose… they blame the refs. When Rondo went off in Miami, he blamed the last play where he was grazed on his face. He was on the floor acting like he was in pain. Ok, yes it was a foul but it wasn’t bad enough to make him roll around the floor while forcing HIS team to go 4 on 5

    23 you’ll be surprised how that hit would hurt. I actually broke my nose that way and there was a nice little puddle of blood on the floor. I agree with your main point but that hit across the face is a sneaky kind of injury.

    23 u either didnt actually watch the game or jsut saying it cause youre a heat fan. but i got grazed in the face once, and left blood everywhere cause my nose got twitched. it hurts and even tho im a miami fan, i gotta admit sometimes we do get more calls than any other team. and so far in the series, i gotta feel sorry for celtics, cause we are gonna rob them

    Lobbying the refs and trying to get calls go your way is one thing. I don’t like it but every team/coach does it. Rondo said nothing wrong here. Doris asked what holes they were exploiting on offense, and he answered with pushing the ball hard when the Heat, especially DWade, would rather whine to the ref than get back on D. Lebron literally screams at refs and doesn’t get t’d up. It’s crazy. All that said, I wouldn’t have said anything if I were Rondo. Expect the Heat to hustle back on every miss next game.

    Yeah and this is coming from the guy who was crying to the refs that Shane Battier tripped him when he clearly didnt and kicked Battier when he was on the floor. This is also the same guy that was trying to get into the Heats huddle last year and also the same guy that bumped into the refs and got thrown out. Rondo is a great player but he is the most immature player in this playoff series hands down.

    I would’ve have never thought that D-Wade’s game would resort into crying for foul shots. It has become his primary emthod of scoring. due to the fact, that he does have a good jumpshot.

Too bad there aren’t more Kevin durants out there who can put on a show and not complain all the time. Rondo has his fusses but I have lost all respect for d wade because of the way he complains. Goes to show these guys can’t drive to the basket all thy great. There are too many great defensive teams and Players who get in lbj and wades way and they don’t like it.     Everyone cries to the refs. Some just do it more than others. And a select few, a lot more. There’s one Miami superstar in this series where this has become automatic, and it isn’t LeBron.
