Blake Griffin’s Through-the-Legs Dunk at Team USA Practice (VIDEO)

BG shows out in Vegas.

During some downtime following the USA basketball scrimmage in Las Vegas Saturday afternoon, Blake Griffin grabbed a ball and did what he does best—entertained onlookers with a monster dunk. Check it out above, courtesy of HoopMixtape.

    If I’m another power forward in the Western Conference, I would love to see this video. While Griffin is spending time mastering tricks and basking in adulation over it, that’s less time he has to spend on what matters – his midrange jumpshot, rebounding and post-up game. Next year he’ll be at home scratching his head again while Miami and OKC are in the finals.

    Seriously. Why hate? Dude is still a kid, and works hard to improve. I’m sure BG will be an AllStar for years to come. As of last year and League Pass, I am totally a BG fan. Kid has mad skills and is one of the few players in the league who does something insane every game. For real. Every Blake game is awesome. I got one game versus Utah last year where CP lops to BG off the opening tip… Wicked. And then BG proceeds to smash 4-5 straight dunks ina row off 4-5 awesome offensive moves. Not just alleys but sick give-n-go’s etc. I am totally a Blake fan. Go BG. Also, my prediction is Blake will go-off in the Olympics…

    Actually, I’m a big fan of Blake and was geeked up to see him in the playoffs. In the Spurs series there were several occasions where they took away his power moves to the basket and forced him to operate in the midrange, and dude looked absolutely bewildered. I’ve see a trillion “gravity-defying” dunks from BG. Would be more impressed when he as proven a mastery of his weaknesses. By the way, “hate” is so 2007. You all need to get your vocabulary up.
