‘Jeremy Lin That I Used to Know’ (VIDEO)

The Jeremy Lin news inspired this parody of Gotye’s hit song.

No matter where you stand on Jeremy Lin—whether you think that he’s a superstar or scrub; whether you think that the Knicks should have brought him back or that he shouldn’t have signed a second offer sheet with the Rockets—there’s no arguing that the entire Linsanity period in New York was a crazy ride with many ups, and a few downs. This parody of Gotye’s song, “Somebody That I Used to Know“, will remind you of each and every one.

    As far as being an NY Sports fan, why would that suck? Only the Mets, Knicks and Jets fan suffer. And the Jets arent THAT far removed from being an elite team. Giants done won the Superbowl and Yankees are always contenders. I could care less about Hockey so the Rangers and Islanders are whatever. I will say that Mets and Knicks fans constantly suffer thanks to their front office…

    If it wasn’t for Jeremy Lin I would not have the MSG network. It was a black out between Time Warner and MSG then linsanity broke. I guess he was worth it back then and not now..

    I heard MSG stock plummeted 64 cents a share, which equates to 49 million dollars…more than Lin’s contract and the luxary tax that would have came from it.

    Knicks didn’t mess up, they saw a kid that could benefit more from being with their organization to learn under JKidd with a 2k rating of 63 overall. He took the money and now an entire Rocket organization is now hoisted upon his shoulders.
