Serge Ibaka Elbows, Shoves Luis Scola (VIDEO)

Things get physical in an Olympic exhibition game.

During a Spain-Argentina exhibition match, NBA forwards Serge Ibaka and Luis Scola got into a little scuffle that escalated throughout the game and eventually reached a fever pitch. Scola finished with 18 points, but his team lost by 20. Stay cool, fellas, the real games haven’t started yet.

i mean you wont find skin colors in any constitution but a nation state comes down to race when you break it down to how it works in terms of sharing ressources, political participation, etc… even a president like obama in the united states is unfortunatelly nothing more yet than the exception of the rule and didnt and wont change much about segregation or the system of the usa

Kevin, please expose yourself to the rest of the world. Don’t take comfort in your ignorance. Hop on a plane. It’s not exactly rare to see black folks in Europe.

So le me get this straight: “Kevin” is making dumb racist comment, is rooting for the Spurs and claim to be … black.

    Hmmm, Yeah right!!!

exactly @ valkyrie. i live in hannover, germany. over here the society is not that segregated, in everyday life you see blacks and whites all mixed up and not stuck in groups same with me n my people, plus skin colour is normally never a topic except on court when we joke around

It makes sense that he’d want to play for team Spain, but it still saddens me to see so many Africans playing for European countries instead of their own, especially when they have no connection to these countries other than brief stints in the Euroleague. They should rep the African nations with pride–as if there isn’t already enough Eurocentricity in the “international community.”

Also on account of the Malvinas aka the Falkland Islands, I hope Argentina whoops Britain’s @ss.

Guessing it’s better in Germany (though a Turkish/Moroccan friend of mine is still a bit bitter about his time there), but the racism I saw in Italy and Spain first-hand was shocking to me; racial epithets from cabbies as soon as I walked out of the airport, locals shouting at Afro-European street vendors – racists everywhere of course, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so glaringly apparent in my short time there.

    @Teddy, and why is that?

Sir Chewbacca may need a little anger management. :)

not sure which comment you’re referring to, tomtom.

I hate it when people say “the majority, not all”, it’s still a very broad generalization, and everybody will conclude that they’re not a part of that majority, and therefor will not have a problem what was said.
And besides I don’t think what continent people are from has anything to do with wath kind of mental tendencies those people have. It certainly has not been proven, and I think it would be a bad idea for anybody to even try to prove it.

@EJ: come on, you can proof it on some groups. for example: the mayority, not all people wearing a bobcats uniform cant put a basket through a hoop. if you think that aint proven, look at the last season lol

The usa is quite a bit more racist than most of Europe, in my opinion

My bad Kevin..I just thought the “black ass” was just a lil unnecessary..its all good though..but I always think its unfair that he can play for Spain when he’s from Congo..sure he played overseas in Spain for years..but damn bro..soon Kobe will be playing for Italy!!

Scola seems to be the MVP of instigation. He’s made Derek Fisher headbutt him and Kevin Love stomp on his face. He clearly is an expert instigator.

Sure Loaf, just like Burma, India, and Zimbabwe. Oh wait…

Debating which is more racist, the US or Europe, is like debating which psycho-killer is more psycho, the US or Europe?

  • Kobester

If he could only bring this much amount of gangsta in the NBA…..
