Team USA Defeats Argentina in Exhibition Game (VIDEO)

The men improve to 4-0 in pre-Olympic friendlies.

The Americans were able to prevail in a tight, chippy affair against Argentina in the latest tuneup for the Olympic Games. Kevin Durant led all scorers by pouring in 27 points.

    The level of international competition and development since 1992 has increased dramatically. People who only consider the victory margins fail to take that into account. I don’t think the 2012 team can beat the 92 team in a 7 game series, but, like Kobe, I believe they can probably take a game (everything would have to be clicking though). Defensively, the 92 team would probably shut these guys down pretty easily.

    Too many 3′s. Game is played inside the three line. Spain is gonna rip these chukers. Durant and Kobe are the only consistent 3pt threats.

    I saw all the 4 exhibitions game (vs Spain tomorrow). IMHO agreed with comment about many point came from 3 points, maybe because the fiba 3 point line is shorter.USA defense also superb.that led to fast break points. But small things that could work agains team USA are the trend to play isolation game if the point are tight (like the last 5 minutes of Argentina game) and 3 point shoot that seems forced. Just like Typical kobe / LBJ game if their team cornered
