Nicolas Batum Punches Juan Carlos Navarro in the Nuts (VIDEO)

The French guard decided he was tired of Spain’s flopping.

Nicolas Batum believed Spain was flopping all game, so he decided to punch Juan Carlos Navarro in the groin to “give him a good reason to flop.” Uh, sure. Reasonable enough. Watch the French guard bring the pain in the video above.

    @Mike: nobody says that spanish players are bad players. it just seems like the number of flops increased while the interest of nba players on soccer/football increased. especially football bound countrymen like scola, ginobili, fernandez, galinari, etc… brought this flopping to the main stage where even us american players start to implement this ugly stuff into the game of basketball. it cannot be punished hard enough. but i want to see a mans game and not something with a back-stabbing philosophy like soccer/football. it is a physical game and i want to see it like this. i dont want this game to soften because i think the fair toughness makes it a honorable sport. in other words, they should leave this p***y stuff at soccer/football. floppers should be suspended and fined for every flop untill nobody dares to flop again.

    For those who saw the whole game, you have to agree the referees let the Spanish players, coach and bench do whatever they wanted, as usual. Theatrical plays are common among this players, specially with the “veterans”, who are keen on the art of acting.

    Now, I would like to remind you of the Eurobasket Final when Rudy Fernandez smashed Tony Parker on the floor during a penetration to the basket, almost injurying him for life. It can’t even be compared to Batum’s act, to which I agree was also pure unsporsmanship.

    It’s funny, Navarro wasn’t even flopping throughout any point of the game. The main offender was rudy fernandez, funny because that’s batum’s former teammate in portland. either way it was a pretty classless move, france had every chance to put that game away, cant go around saying they tanked against brazil but then have your team absolutely choke in the last 6 minutes.
