Russell Westbrook Dunks All Over Argentina’s Juan Gutiérrez (VIDEO)

Is this the best throwdown of the Olympics?

Earlier today, Team USA took home a 126-97 victory over Argentina, a win that was accentuated by this insane Russell Westbrook dunk over Juan Gutiérrez. Yeah, Russ got T’ed up seconds later for staring down the Argentinian guard he put on a poster, but that was a small price to pay for this highlight.

I just figured out its on nbc sports network on channel 600 something wtf man Now im recording it and theyll switch it back to network tv since the next games are elimination games, sorry bout the rant but come on

    Reminded me of the ‘dunk of death’ but then I watched the dunk of death and realised Westbrook needed about another foot of vertical to match it. Still awesome – can’t believe the non stop foul calls on USA from the referees and still they destroyed Argentina – killing the game, not helped by the eternally flopping Ginobli. This dunk along with the KD three from outer city limits were a welcoming eff U to the referees.

    I thought this was up there with the ‘dunk of death’ – until I watched the dunk of death again. Can’t believe the non-stop foul calls on USA – killed the game. Still, KD’s three shot from somewhere between OKC and London basically told the refs to STFU.

    Not super impressive, but crucial due to the dirty “ball-slap” done to Carmelo about 2 minutes prior on his 3 by that greasy Argentine. Those dudes look dirty and greasy, like they are all from New Jersey or something ha! The armpit of America

    It’s basketball. NBA players are confident, especially the superstars. Has nothing to do with the country. International players are confident as well…just not as good as the U.S. team. Dirk Nowitzki would fall right in line if he were playing on this U.S. team and he’s not American.

    Dirty (ba)stards should have gotten taunted. When the U.S. played them in the warmups to the Olympics Manu Genobli horse collared Lebron James, could have ended his career if he had landed wrong. Glad Westbrook showed them up, and just because you tuck tail and run out of the way doesnt me you didn’t get dunked on. Actually it makes you look like an even bigger punk A(s)(s) go on and get dunked on like a man.
