The Black Mamba helps a good cause.

Last year, Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa started an initiative to help combat the homeless problem in LA. The mission continues for Kobe, and Bryant explained to the media why it’s such an important issue for him.

This is really great. And contrasting Kobe’s attitude here with his basketball-related interviews is pretty interesting.

There are 18.5 million vacant homes in the US, while 3.5 million people are homeless. Do the math. Roughly 6 empty homes for every 1 homeless person in this country. How anyone is okay with this is beyond me. Did ya’ll know North Korea has free housing??

Good job by Slam acknowledging Kobe has a heart and thinks about more things than just basketball. Kobe is trying to help, which is always great especially if you have the money to help.

I love how when Kobe does something good it barely gets any attention. But when he does something bad, everyone loses their minds.
