Kevin Love Shaves His Head to Help Fight Cancer (VIDEO)

His barber: NFLer Larry Fitzgerald.

As part of the ongoing battle against breast cancer, Kevin Love showed his support by getting his head shaven by Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Love is also pushing others to get involved.

    Are you implying that it’s insulting to ask a man to raise awareness for breast cancer? If so that’s one of the more idiotic things I’ve seen on this site. We all have mothers, sisters, wives and female friends. You can care about women’s health if you’re a man. Now, whether Lebron reads these comments is a different story . . . .

    I never understand the significance of these passive aggressive attempts to make a change, why not just raise money (and yes I know that Love probably donates a lot more money to charity than I ever will)? It’s a lot more useful then shaving your head or changing your facebook profile picture.

    While I 100% agree… Sounds like this is going to be a way for other people to donate through K-Love’s foundationbut yeah it’s a little publicity to keep his image going too, but for a good cause so no complaints from me.
