Hasheem Thabeet Ejected, Then Brought Back in the Game (VIDEO)

After some beefing with James Harden in the first half of the Rockets/Thunder game last night, Hasheem Thabeet was tossed out of the game. The referees then bizarrely changed their minds, and re-inserted the big man into the contest.

I LOVE the fire in the big guy….his hustle this season has been great. I really think he’s starting to get his career back on track in OKC.

i dig harden, but he has a tendency to walk into ppl after plays to get under their skin.

    imo, that sh*t is lame.

  • i AN LEGEND

I swore Thabeet was going to morph back into a rabid bear as he was walking to the tunnel.

And to think Memphis could’ve had Harden instead of him..

Before this year, this guy had to be the biggest bust in NBA history….I hope he can find a place in the league

bet he won’t do that to world peace

I guess they were desparate for a center cause Marc wasn’t that good back than..

At this point Thabeet looks like a bargain, he is signed to something like 3 years 4mil
I would not rule out he’ll become the successor to Perkins
That would be a spiderish frontline

And if you can remember back, Thabeet was a pretty hot item….labeled as a “project”, but had huge upside and everyone thought he could be a top 5 center if he panned out. Just didn’t happen, at least not yet.

Dude isn’t anywhere near the biggest bust when you have Olowokandi, Kwame, Oden, etc.

  • errday

oi patterson, stop patting thabeet’s ass. its totally defusing the manliness of the situation.

  • Chukaz

Oden was productive the 80 games he was healthy, the candy man managed to stick along for a while in the L and even got to start for some good Minnesota KG-led teams, Kwame’s been around for over a decade and still gettin contracts worth more than league minimum. Thabeet looked like he was on his way out of the league after 3 years. I think that’s what Mike meant

  • Ugh

It’s actually good to see the refs admitting they made a hasty and incorrect call. Clearly Joey Crawford wasn’t involved.
