Joe Johnson Makes Paul Pierce Fall Down With a Low Crossover (VIDEO)

Down goes the Celtics forward.

It has not been a good season for Paul Pierce on the defensive end of the floor so far. He seems to fall down a lot when attempting to guard people who can handle the rock. After crumbling to the ground when checking Jameer Nelson a few days ago, last night, Paul Pierce became the victim of a series of low crossover dribbles by Joe Johnson.

    He didnt really make Pierce fall. Joe Johnson looked like he lost control of the ball for a second and pierce made a move towards the floor to try to steal it and Johnson regained control…. Looked bad live tho, but when you see the replay it wasnt Johnson just mixing that sent him to the ground…

    It looks funny but he didn’t drop PP. He lost his handle and in regaining it did a series of low dribbles. PP lost his balance bending over fprfor the ball cuz he’s too old to bend his knees. Lol. People don’t fall forward from getting crossed over.

    At the 31 second mark, when the ball is in his right hand, he loses control the handle briefly, but regains it as Pierce starts to head towards the ball and the floor.

    This is miles ahead of every crossover video where either the defender or the ballhandler steps on the other guys foot, causing him to fall.
