Dwyane Wade Kicks Ramon Sessions in the Groin (VIDEO)

After being fouled by Ramon Sessions, Dwyane Wade proceeded to kick him in the balls. Sessions was understandably less than thrilled with what took place. Per the Sun-Sentinel: “Fouled by Sessions, Wade offered a unique, albeit subtle, response. Well, maybe not that subtle. The move caught Sessions off guard. ‘I thought he did it on purpose, and it wasn’t called,’ Sessions said afterward. [...] Wade was not questioned postgame about the play in question. It seems there was plenty more to talk about. Like the Bobcats’ 16-game losing streak. With seemingly everyone these days kicking them when they’re down.”

What an ass has Dwade become..

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

Dirty play. Nothing guys can do to him though knowing that there’s no punk in him and he’s probably the strongest two guard in the league. And he has a guy like Udonis Haslem backing him up and he’s not one to back down from anyone. Plus, that guy LeBron is pretty imposing and has a football background.

  • fruizm

LeBron just stood there waiting for things to go down. Good friend.

  • Youngindy21

    Lebron James wouldn’t do squat.

  • Max

Imagine Dwade, Bron and UD going HAM like Capt Jack, Ron Artest and Jermaine lol

  • Youngindy21

Dwyane Wade is a dirty player. He gonna do that crap to the wrong player one day and it will be a brawl. He did that slick sh!t to Darren Collison in the playoffs last postseason.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

If you watch the play, he didn’t intentional kick him in the groin. If anything thing it was him flopping & selling the foul, his leg just happened to reach his man zone. He never looked for, or did he targeted Ramon’s junk, unlike Suh for the Lions & his numerous “accidental mishaps”. I’m a DWade fan, & I’ll admit that he has been chippy (to say the least) for the past 4-5 yrs, but this play is a 1 on the B!tcha$$ness meter.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

    Based on what evidence?

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

LeBron and Wade? Two of the biggest stars in the game. Especially LeBron. Imagine him missing 50 games. David Stern’s head would explode.

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

LeBron is smart enough to know that the best thing he can do is make sure that he stays on the floor and doesn’t get a technical or two and get thrown out of the game.

  • Shifty

What’s your evidence to say he would do something?

  • Name

I’m so tired of D-Wade getting away with these kind of moves

  • spit hot fiyah

if this video has any likes on youtube i’m feel like batum is responsible for one of them

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

I never said that he would so it’s not on me to provide evidence. It’s on the dude who said he wouldn’t do anything. My comment was made based on the fact that most wide receivers get hit. LeBron played WR in high school. You have to be tough to get hit, take it and keep going. Plus, LeBron gets hit plenty in the league when guys think they’re trying to foul him hard. He keeps going. He’s not a punk.

  • Max

    Are you kidding me?
Look at the first replay and tell me that was not intentional.

  • roscoe

if ndamukong suh’s nickname is donkey kong…

    dwades new nickname should be?

    a) king koopa

    b) shredder

    c) blinky, pinky, inky or clyde

    d) dumb@ss

  • K_HOLIDAY

Did his leg even connect in the groin area… looks like more of a thigh check to me

  • Seth

ESPN would have nothing to talk about.

  • JRog

Not true, when Biyombo tried to ease in on Wade, Lebron step in…

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

He kicked his leg out & didn’t look his direction until after contact was made. The leg kick was exaggerated to sell the foul, but he didn’t dribble down the court & say to himself “When Ramon run up on me, I’ma kick him in the junk”.

  • Slick Ric

Dwade is a chump….Rondo was right baout him being a dirty player.

  • Slick Ric

    *About

  • Max

Ofcourse not be he tought so when he fouled him.
Well than, I think he did it on purpose, you think he didn’t..

  • Slick Ric

Especially when he goes for layups, he kicks guys and I have never seen him called for a offensive foul.

  • Ses

Wade has taken out multiple players (he is dirty, bottom line). His skills are diminishing so he is trying to find a way to level the playing field. Straight b*tch move but whatelse to expect from a team like MIA.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

you realize Wade is more efficient then he’s ever been right? i mean, look at what he’s doing over the last 12 games, while played 32MPG, http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/wadedw01/gamelog/2013/#608-619-sum:pgl_basic
    - the whole, “wade’s skills are diminishing” theory is wrong. like, obviously wrong.

  • fruizm

I know!! I wasnt being sarcastic!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

I think he flopped, kicked out his leg, & flung his arm all on purpose to sell the foul. His nuts just happen to be where his leg was.

Not to compare my weekend warrior games to the pros, but when I playing with a overly active guard who loves to reach or play chest up D, there’s subtle moves I do to create space or get a foul call. It’s pretty much to let him know to back up and/or stop hacking.

  • Max

My problem is he raised his leg after all momentum stopped.
U don’t do that especially if u could hit someone in the nuts.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

Rondo should be the last one to talk, the way he bodyslamed Kirk Hinrich a few seasons ago…everybody seems to excuse Rondo & says he’s just a fierce competitor

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

I get what u are saying completely, had it been me (once my eyes uncrossed) I would’ve went at him.

Right, he flopped after the contact…u can see his forearm made the initial contact, after that he kicked his leg out, but he never looked at him or his junk. With his bad knees, I highly doubt he intentionally flung his leg out to make contact, what if he would’ve miscalculated & banged knees…

  • Max

Ok now, I laughed a bit when u said looked at his junk.
And I don’t think u can bang knees when one is going from down to up and the other one just stands there.

  • VanCityBBall

isnt this the same guy who called out Rondo for being a dirty player last year?

  • Storsveen

Since Cousins got suspended for one game after he punched Mayo in the groin, Wade should definitely be suspended for this..

  • VanCityBBall

I think you 2 are both right in a sense.. i do believe that it was intentional but i think sessions did sell it more than he had to, but could u blame him thats a sensitive area? and thinking back on your first comment-”he kicked his leg out & didn’t look his direction after contact was made”, is not an excuse. in that case you could argue the MWP elbow to james harden was nothing

  • http://twitter.com/Jzakoni Sanchez

Times like this I’d wish he pull this stunt to metta world peace or Ben wallace

  • http://twitter.com/Jzakoni Sanchez

    Punk move

  • Max

    Or Ivan Johnson.
    The Lakers need MWP. :)

  • http://twitter.com/Jzakoni Sanchez

Or imagine him doing this to javaris crittenton? Lol

  • Max

    PAW PAW

  • http://twitter.com/Jzakoni Sanchez

    Haha woulda shot his ass

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

    Sure, they would. Tim Tebow.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

In the heat of the moment, I didn’t think what Metta did was all that bad. Harden got in his space after Metta stole the ball from him & scored, which Harden has done stuff like that before when he’s been shown up. Harden just happen to do it to the one guy in the league that everyone know isn’t wrapped too tight.

After seeing it replayed a million times in slow-mo, I saw how it was intentional & uncalled for. My thing is, had Harden not tried to be chippy, he wouldn’t have been elbowed, period. It was a game changing play & Metta was crunk (do ppl still say “crunk”?). Metta went high intentionally, no doubt, but had he went low like in the chest or rib cage, it would’ve never been an issue.

  • Lloyd

fan boys are ridiculous sometimes. this is a grown man kicking another grown man in the nuts and trying to get away with him. that’s pathetic, don’t try to defend the man. probably the same people who claimed harden got in the way of artest’s celebratory elbow.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

Anything can happen, it just so happens that his leg found the softest & sensitive part on a mans body, lol. Like I said, it was an excessive flop on DWade’s behalf for sure, but I can’t get with the intentional nut shot premise.

  • Lloyd

    1. He kicked him in the nuts
    2. Even if he missed, it’s still a b*tch move

  • Lloyd

    1. He kicked him in the nuts
    2. Even if he missed, it’s a b*tch move

  • K_HOLIDAY

Not denying the b*tchness of the kick by D-Wade, but questioning where it hit vs the reaction from Sessions. I’ve been hit in the nuts before and you dont jump up after 2 seconds asking questions… Trust, that ish hurts! If D-Wade connected, Sessions would probably still be on the ground right now!

  • Lloyd

You’re ridiculous. this is exactly like Artest’s cheap shot, just that there wasn’t as much force. Dude felt the contact and kicked Sessions in the nuts. That’s all there is to it. Fan boys are crazy sometimes…

  • Lloyd

The logic is flawed. Being able to take a hit in football doesn’t translate to not being a punk. Regardless, Lebron wouldn’t do squat if Dwade got into it with Sessions. My comment is based on the fact that if he jumps into any fight, he’ll get suspended x number of games too. Wins are more important if you’re trying to repeat championships. With that in mind, Dwade don’t scare anybody.

  • K_HOLIDAY

NBK, some ppl mistake athleticism as a skill. D-Wade is WAY more skilled than he was when he came into the league but since he’s not as explosive as he once was, ppl mistakenly categorize that as his skills deminishing. SMH… Huge difference in watching the game vs knowing the game

  • Max

Have you ever been almost hit in the nuts?
Your initial reaction is to grab them and fall down, and if you don’t believe it, try it I guess.

  • Max

You mean the World Peace love tap?

  • K_HOLIDAY

I have almost been hit as well and didnt have that reaction. Different folks, different strokes I guess

  • Lloyd

Sorry I thought you were trying to defend Wade on the grounds that the kick missed. Regardless, what Max said. Initial reaction is to grab your nuts and react to the pain you think is going to come. I don’t think he did an over the top job of selling some fake contact, he popped right back up.

  • K_HOLIDAY

Nahhh, wasnt defending him at all… Was just laughing more at the reaction. Thought it was a little extra considering he jumped right up. I’ve never had that reaction before after almost being hit down there, but hey, not saying it doesnt happen.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

In reference to Metta/Harden, I blame Harden becuz u don’t provoke a bull unless u want the horns. Who is Harden to say Metta couldn’t celebrate a great play by himself. Yes, he didn’t have to go high, but Harden also had the entire half court to go get the inbound pass, & he choose to venture where Metta was going dumb at.
How is saying DWade flopped being a fan boy? Please explain that so me.
I look at things thru objective lens, not a fan, not a homer, not a uninformed casual fan. The refs obviously didn’t think it DWade was in the wrong after seeing Ramon fall to the floor & jump back up like he didn’t even have nuts. He wasn’t called for a charge, but oh I forgot, he’s a superstar so he gets all the calls for him.

  • Max

    Lol

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    that is a great explanation.

  • Lloyd

Yea of course. Harden was wrong because he should’ve seen the cheap shot coming and avoided the concussion by not throwing himself into that elbow. And it’s a NBA game…why should Harden think he’s in any danger and move out of the way? You make it seem like Artest was throwing bows and Harden saw that and ran over to get one…

And you clearly said you were a Dwade fan. Your outlandish dismissal of a kick to the groin can only be explained by being a fanboy. Yea…just because the refs didn’t call it means it wasn’t wrong…spot on…

  • Lloyd

Demarcus Cousins wasn’t called for his groin punch either. You probably thought he was just boxing out huh?

  • AQWORD

Metta & Dwight at the same time

  • AQWORD

d wade would b!ch slap you wit his pinky for that bull ish !

  • AQWORD

    word

  • AQWORD

what was wrong with that. That was a clean kick.

  • AQWORD

Another Championship of course you silly billy from the hilly next to philly.

  • AQWORD

serious the dude still hurts from the finals SLAPPING

  • Lloyd

Don’t you mean he’ll try to kick me in the nuts?

  • ByAnyMeansNecessary

I think it pretty much says a lot about a guy’s toughness when he decides to play a position that requires him to sometimes take pretty big hits from guys on a football field.

  • robb

I love how he preaches about values and the importance of being a good example for his kids and then he ends up doing that kind of stuff. Dude’s a hypocrite.

  • Boggz

Couldn’t agree more Max, D-Wade has become a real punk b!tch. A low act from a player who is struggling to come to terms with the fact that he’s losing his powers whilst playing in LeBron’s shadow.

  • Boggz

Dude should be forced to kiss it better

  • Beastofdeast

Anybody who doesn’t believe that was intentional is clearly sucking Wade’s ballz. See A dirty player right there and the league does nothing. But you all are so quick to hop on griffin and accuse him of flopping when he gets hit by other PF and Cs in the league.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jhemp15 Jamar Hemphill

Harden does silly things like that all the time, just as Metta is known for losing his damn mind from time to time. Harden is known as an agitator, & that’s a fact. Like I said, don’t poke the bull unless u want the horns. Metta is like that kid everyone knows is on his 2nd strike & is not afraid to go to jail. Harden did throw himself into Metta’s space, & like I’ve said, Metta didn’t have to go high with his elbow & was wrong.

I’m not dismissing DWade’s actions at all, I’ve said he was wrong. I’m dismissing that he set out to purposely kick Ramon in the junk. Doesn’t make me a “fanboy” becuz I like DWade. I’d give any man the benefit of the doubt, becuz I’d think he wouldn’t want to get suspended and/or fined.
As far as Cousins, is a head case & a waste of talent, so I really don’t entertain anything he does or says.

  • Gman

he pushed him… and Wade tried to get his balance back so what? lol. I have done this before, but my foot happened not to hit any balls except once.

  • Mike From Spain

What is for me more infuriating than the kick itself, is that Wade stares him down, Sessions gets called for the foul, and when he goes to Wade asking ‘what was that?’ in quite a civil form, Wade faces him up looking for a fight and the refs hold Sessions as though he was the one stirring up trouble

  • Mike From Spain

    What a d1ck move

  • AQWORD

    nope
