I applaud a player who takes a gamble to try and stop a basket, even when they know there’s a high risk of them getting dunked on. Too many guys in the NBA just don’t play help defence, for fear of “getting dunked on”. Nice dunk though, but ever since the baptism of Gary Neal, anything JR does will always be 2nd best…
I’ve always wanted to hate on JR Smith even when he was back in Denver ,but his game is pretty dope I admit.
Was gonna say the same thing. So many “big men” nowadays would have stepped up to try and take a charge in that scenario.
