Tracy McGrady Elbows a Player in the Chinese Basketball League (VIDEO)

Don’t mess with T-Mac.

Even while hooping in China, T-Mac remains as feisty as ever: upset that a player gave him the infamous Mutombo finger-wag following a three, Tracy McGrady elbowed him in the chest.

T-Mac mad because dude hit the shot in his eye. That being said, little Asian dude flopped worse than the last 5 Adam Sandler movies that have come out. Pathetic, man.

    GIVE THAT MAN AN OSCAR

  • OneStep

Back when TMac mattered he’d have lit him up instead. Those days are gone though. I miss those days.

  • bill

Used to drain ‘em in faces now gets ‘em drained in his face.

  • Coffee-Black

    Cocky mothherfuccker, take that.

  • FINE THAT MAN

I guess the language of flopping is universal. Either that or he speaks fluent Clipper

Lol T-Mac was losing my 22 too

  • BallsRUs

Correction: The team McGrady plays on was losing by 22 which happens to be one of the worst teams in the CBA. McGrady was not playing 1-on-5, he was playing 5-on-5. I`m not even sure if they have won a game yet.

    Sit yo ass dooown!

I was at the game last night… this was against Stephon Marbury’s team in Beijing. T-Mac is putting up big numbers in China’s worst team

  • http://www.facebook.com/HolyBaller Dillan Leu

I love how people are so quick to call others “racist”. I don’t know his name, so I said “Asian dude”. Height has nothing to do with it, I can’t tell how tall he is in the video. Stop being a jackass.

  • http://www.facebook.com/HolyBaller Dillan Leu

Judgmental people piss me the hell off. Hope you’re not one of those people.

  • http://www.facebook.com/HolyBaller Dillan Leu

    This sounds oddly sexual….

  • robb

    they call it fropping

  • ernie.g

so you were stereotyping. You’re not making it any easier, its better off to just accept errors and learn from it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/HolyBaller Dillan Leu

How is it stereotyping when I honestly thought the guy was short? I made a visual error, not a judgmental one. I watched the vide again, he’s tall, I didn’t notice. Nothing in that makes me a racist, and if any of you keyboard warriors actually knew me, you’d know I’m the LEAST racist person you’ll ever meet. But I’m a white male, so I MUST be racist, right?! Bunch of trolls in here today.

  • http://www.facebook.com/HolyBaller Dillan Leu

While Robb makes an obviously racist joke and gets thumbed up, Sanchez calls him a “chink” and gets thumbed up, and you want to jump on ME for making a mistake about his height? Yeah, and I’M the racist one.

  • Chi Pan Zi

hold up! when did Jeremy Lin start playing in China!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/do.obmyself Carlo Roco

i dont do this really, but i seriously want to butt in. People are too liberal with the word “racist” nowadays.. people who freely call out others to be “racist” (based on probably unintentional use of words) are actually the ones placing a prejudgement on the latter; hence discrimination. if you are a white dude talking about a black, asian person,, anything you say can be interpreted as racist/stereotyping to sensitive people…. isnt that racist to begin with?!?! we live in a crazy world. and on the net it doesnt get any better. and also its one thing to be racist, and its another to be a prejudging a-hole. I’m Asian by the way.. incase any racist comments come my way.

  • http://www.facebook.com/DennisRayWest Dennis West

How does one have a visual error, that conveniently coincides with popular a stereotype. Lol, I don’t think it makes you a racist, and besides that there are truths in stereotypes, that’s why they exist

  • Teddy-the-Bear

Cool story bro. You make zero sense, but I feel inspired.

  • Reen

You can t show what a tough guy you are by hitting the three and flop then like that. It s embarrassing what grown men do on a basketball court nowadays. It s almost worse than soccer/football…

  • Ugh

Judgement is to draw a conclusion after a presentation of evidence. Our friend above assumed the Asian in the video was little, because he has preconceptions about Asians. That is, he ignored the evidence and made a judgement that is based on what he expects Asians to be, which is small. To judge a specific example without basis of evidence is prejudice. Emphasis on the ‘pre’. Prejudice, when based on race, is racism.

I made my claim based on that evidence, and by his own admission he made a judgement with no basis on evidence, I inferred from that baseless judgement and the phrase he used that he was racist.

Claiming that judgement of a statement or an act and labeling it racist is qualitatively the same as a prejudice simply appalling logic at best, and an apology for racism at worst.

If you really think calling someone a racism and racism are the same, you need to actually do more thinking and less typing. It’s not rocket science to work this stuff out, it’s really basic informal logic. But actually thinking about it helps.

  • Ugh

No. I won’t. You said ‘little Asian dude’ because you expect all Asians to be little. It’s racist. Take responsibility for being a racist rather than telling someone who calls you on your bullshit to get off your nuts. You deserve someone to be on your nuts.

  • solito

TMac dosen’t have the NBA clout over there, so he has to do the dirty work himself (with which he obviously sorely lacks the experience in). A shooter in the NBA will never wag a finger in f.e. Kobe’s face, because he knows there will be a “hard screen” or “tough boxout” waiting for him in one of the next trips down court, administered by a designated bruiser.

  • AQWORD

Back up off his Dill Pickle !!

  • Salty

Great. Here comes another 100 posts regarding racism on the Slam message boards.

  • EJ

I think the real reason why stereotypes exist is because they are used to justify injustice. The reason they’re “bad” is not because they’re insensitive, but they can incite people to do unjust things.

  • roscoe

    get that man a doctor.

  • Chandler22

what if the asian went jackie chan mode on tmac

  • booooo

    i blame black people !!!!

  • speedy

Ugh. What is your problem. Relax!
Calling this guy a yellow chink is racist. This is just using a stereotype not a racist slur. So sto overreacting

  • Teddy-the-Bear

I agree with you but you’re arguing with idiots, brah. It’s like shouting in a forest. If you’re logical around people who just don’t have the brain capacity for logic… are you really being logical? =)
Carlo Roco’s comment was the dumbest though. Just re-read this:
“and also its one thing to be racist, and its another to be a prejudging
a-hole. I’m Asian by the way.. incase any racist comments come my way.” LOL. That could make the SLAM Hall of Shame right there. He’s like a less articulate male Michelle Malkin.

  • L01

T-Mac had 37 points in this game

  • http://twitter.com/Jzakoni Sanchez

    LOL

  • bill

Was that your “zinger”, Archie Bunker?

  • zues

For sticking all those black c*cks in your mom?

  • charliewinning@gmail.com

You didn’t notice he wasn’t short in that video. Right. If he were a black or white player I highly doubt you would have made the assumption that he was little. Why don’t the morons of this site just say my bad when they stick their dumb feet in their mouths and keep it moving? They always have to argue why other people shouldn’t call out their bs. It’s annoying. In Slam world, racism isn’t the problem. It’s the people who point it out that are. Talk about ass-backwards.

  • reese

You being Asian means you’re incapable of having a racially insensitive attitude? I love how people point out their race and ethnicity as if it’s supposed to mean they can’t possibly be wrong. Like “I’m a person of color so I can’t possibly be wrong about this. The white guy is right this time”. gtfoh

  • reese

Sure. And anything short of the extreme means it isn’t racist. What kind of moronic reasoning is that smfh

  • KBthaKILLA

    THAT’S MY DUDE. T-MAC.

  • http://twitter.com/Jzakoni Sanchez

    BAZINGA my ni99a

  • Allen iv3rson

The chinese league is awesome, you get away with taunting and dont have to worry about stupid double techs if its just one player starting trouble and an overly sensitive commissioner who dishes out fines like steve nash in his prime

  • jomomma

That was a big elbow for the little noodle
