Joe Johnson Sinks Game-Winner vs Wizards in Double OT (VIDEO)

JJ comes through in the clutch.

The Nets and Wizards battled into double overtime Friday night, but instead of letting this one go into yet another extra time session, Brooklyn guard Joe Johnson ended things with this incredibly clutch jumpshot.

    Normal Joe …shrug

too tall & too skilled to be stopped at crunch time . kinda like a baby Durantula

  • ATL dynamite

Joe has been my fav player when he’s on the Hawks. I still love his game even after he was sent to Brooklyn. Why? Because of how he carries his team in closing minutes. This, my friend, is one example.

Too big, too strong, too good!

Say what you want about Joe, but the man has played exactly how he was expected to when he signed his max deal. Like it or not, in the summer of 2010, due to so many teams having cap space, his market value was a max deal.

He’s played almost every game, came through in the clutch often and put up consistently solid numbers. He’s been the same player he always was. You can’t expect him to turn into MJ just because he signed a big money deal in an inflated market.
