Victor Dukes’ Insane Dunk (VIDEO)

High school sophomore ended up above the rim.

Just before the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve, Victor Dukes, a 6-3 sophomore guard at Nettleton (AR) High, literally kneed his defender’s chin en route to a posterizing dunk that left the defender humiliated and hurt (literally).

I didn’t see this view before. Mark Jackson is happy people might start to forget he got dunked on by Tom Chambers.

The finishing blow comes, as the ref attempts to keep the game flowing smoothly.
The ball delivers a concussive blow to the poor player’s cranial area, near the end of the video.
The ref, sensing the severity of the situation, calls for an official timeout.

gonna B close . sicness to the 3rd degree.

What a hesi move & sic quick rise. From this angle it loox like he caught a knee then a scissor kick to the dome. simple & plane , give me the lane …. word to Chuck D

It is a tribute, and a show of respect to the Illuminati.

I jumped from my bed when I saw this dunk. This is some Space Jam stuff.

  • 1982

Same here. And I’m at work.

  • bike

I can’t tell how much of that was jumping high versus pulling himself up one-armed on the rim. Either way, pretty awesome.

You don’t actually believe in that sh*t do you?.. smh

  • ChosenOne

Kobe pretty much did this exact same dunk on Ben Wallace once when he was a kid with a ‘fro. It was a preseason game.

    this kid is bad!

  • RayJr

Dunk of the year? U guys serious? At the 5 second mark the kid uses his right leg to boost himself higher…reminds me of this…

  • http://twitter.com/_DFrance DFrance

Don’t think Kobe got up like that!

  • http://twitter.com/_DFrance DFrance

The look when you pause it at the 6 second mark is crazy. But in slow mo, it does look likes he gets a slight boost off the defenders thigh. Still dope tho

I was at the game and saw this dunk live. He did not get a boost with his right leg. he only kneed the defender, never stepped on him.

is that Shawn Kemp’s all seeing one eye :-)

  • Darksaber

FRAK ME! What a smooth sequence.

  • barnabusb

The best is the announcer’s voice. Seriously. Close your eyes and just try to picture what that dude looks like as he says, “He just INJURED a PLAYER with a DUNK!” Whitest white guy who ever whited.

  • RayJr

It would like that live but once his right leg extends he gets a boost. It’s obvious once you slow the video down
