LeBron James Makes History vs. Portland Blazers (VIDEO)

The NBA’s reigning MVP continues to on his torrid, historical pace. LeBron James lit up the visiting Blazers to the tune of 30 points (on 11/15 shooting), 9 assists and 6 rebounds in a 117-104 Miami Heat win. LBJ becomes the first player in League history to score 30 while connecting on at least 60% of his field goal attempts in six straight games. Even James can’t seem to  believe how well he’s playing. Per the AP: “It was the 1,000th regular-season win in Heat history. But on this night, the only history anyone will remember was what James accomplished. ‘I’m at a loss for words,’ James said in a televised postgame interview. ‘Like I say over and over, I know the history of the game. I know how many unbelievable players who came through the ranks, who paved the way for me and my teammates. And for me to be in the record books by myself with such a stat – any stat – it’s big-time.’ [...] In NBA history, only Adrian Dantley and Moses Malone had put together five straight 30-point, 60-percent efforts – that is, until James joined their super-exclusive club. And now, he stands alone. [...] ‘It kind of blew my mind,’ James said. ‘To see how small the list was and for me to even be a part of the list, to start off, it’s like, ‘Wow.’ … ‘Wow’ doesn’t even come close to summing up how he’s been in the last six games. He’s shot 66 for 92 – and take away a ‘slow’ 6-for-12 start at Toronto on Feb. 3, he’s made 60 of his last 80 field-goal tries, a ridiculous 75 percent success rate. He’s scored either 30, 31 or 32 points in all six of these games.”

He was at a loss for words because he blew his own mind? Damn, son. As amazing as the accomplishment is, I’d have kept that one to myself lmao.

Used to hate this guy with a passion, but his game is now complete, more than ever. The scary thing is, he still has a good 2-3 years as the king of the league and has a chance to go down as GOAT.

Just give him the damn MVP already.

He officially hit his prime last night and I don’t think we will, if ever, see a player like this in a very long time.

I am gonna get absolutely murdered for this, but I’m probably the only person not that impressed with this. I would have been impressed if it was anything but dunks, layups and shots from 5 feet away from the basket.

” Bow down , Coz i aint a hater like You …. Bow down to the ….. that’s greater than you . ” simples like Meercats

Othello – go back to playing darts son !!!

But that’s the thing. He’s so good at getting to the basket, even when teams know that’s his strength, that he doesn’t need to shoot. Add to that his unselfishness and you have a player that’s impossible to defend.

So you don’t think its difficult to get buckets in the paint? This Is a league where probably 85% of players can shoot jumpers. I’d say under 40% can go down low and get buckets. Give credit where its due man
