Steve Nash Passes Magic Johnson in Career Assists (VIDEO)

It was an emotional, historic night in Los Angeles, as the Lakers defeated their enemies from Boston convincingly 113-99. Steve Nash leapfrogged Magic Johnson to claim the fourth spot on the NBA’s all-time assist leaderboard.

    Magic could’ve finished with more assists than Stockton if he could’ve played longer.

    Stock played until he was 40. He was still gonna beat Magic in total assists. And he did it in them little short shorts.

    Magic played 600 less games than Stockton. If he hadn’t retired initially, he could’ve had at least 5 more seasons of productivity. If he could pull off the longevity of Stockton, he would’ve had more assists.
