Aaron Gordon Senior Year Mixtape

The forward has incredible bounce.

Aaron Gordon has been drawing a lot of comparisons to Blake Griffin for his explosive athleticism and dunking ability, and the video above shows why. Gordon, a Cali native, wrapped up his senior year with a disappointing loss in the title game against Mater Dei (CA), but the young man has a lot to look forward to. A consensus Top-10 recruit, Gordon will make his college decision at this year’s McDonald’s All-American game in Chicago and will immediately impact whichever program he commits to.

Does he have a list of schools he’s considering? I’d love to see some top recruits like him and Wiggins team up somewhere other than Kentucky.

    Does he have a jumper?

Confused about this kid. Explosive as hell, but he’s 6-8 with no perimeter skills at all. Can’t shoot free throws, and has no set position.

Mixed, 6’8, plays the 4 and has a decent handle and deceptive cross over and dunks so wrecklessly. But he has defensive instincts that dwarf Griffins right now. Both could use a shooting coach. Really could be seen as a light skinned Manimal with less rebounding prowress but still respectable on the boards.
