Deron Williams Hits NBA Record 9 Threes in First Half (VIDEO)

An epic performance from DWill.

Deron Williams played arguably the best half of basketball by any player this season, hitting his first seven three-point attempts en route to dropping 33 points in just 15 minutes of play. His nine treys before halftime set the new NBA record for three-pointers made in a half and the Nets franchise record for threes made…in a game.

    This is impressive. Yet, him taking this many long jumpers this season is detrimental to his team. The Nets need to trade away Gerald Wallace or at least acquire a rotation player who can shoot. The Nets have terrible spacing with Gerald Wallace on the wing and that means that Deron Williams is forced to try to increase floor-spacing.
