Dwight Howard Introduced and Booed in Orlando (VIDEO)

As expected…

As expected, Magic fans showed up in full force tonight for Dwight Howard’s highly-anticipated return to Orlando. They booed their old hero lustily—apologies be damned—and he naturally just smiled through it.

Expected and warranted. He’ll put on a brave face but knowing how much he wants people to like him, it had to hurt him.

Compared to Lebron’s return to Cleveland, this is nada

  • Redd

And you can tell it did, it’s mad obvious by his reaction & face but maybe I’m the only one.

Vince Carter’s return to Toronto was 10 times worse than this…

  • Dagger

Vince returns to Toronto: scores 39.
Lebron returns to Cleveland: scores 38 in 3 quarters.
Howard returns to Orlando: scores 39.

Gotta respect those performances under a ton of pressure. Either way, although Kobe has been playing amazing ball lately, the Lakers will go as far as Howard takes them this year.

at the end of the game i thought i saw a ton of emotion on dh12′s face…

then again maybe he needed the bathroom… its a long game.

  • roscoe

dos numbers are statements fo sho.

dh12 did shoot a lot of FT tho.

  • MUBWAR

but d12 had like 40 fta? even though he impressed me with those 25 ft made

The free throw attempts compensate for the disparity in field goal attempts.

Ironically, the only coward in the building was Jacques Vaughn for employing that defensive “strategy”.

  • Darksaber

39 freethrow attempts. And he made 25 of ‘em.
Good lord, how long did this game last? 3.5 hours?

  • Lloyd

Don’t go by just the video. Dude was talking trash with fans all night.

  • Lloyd

Vince’s return to Toronto to this day is worse than that.

    this ni66a is sissy

  • Sam

The most surprising thing about this video is that Steve Nash is 6’3?!

he’d be the MVP if he could shoot 64% regularly…

  • KevinJohnsonFan

Looked fake to me. Fake smiles and laughs. He didn’t change that much in just a few days. He’s still sensitive and takes everything to heart.

  • KevinJohnsonFan

You’re not the only one. He was trying to act like he was going along with everything. Didn’t work.

  • Lloyd

Don’t get it twisted. He’s not some soft-hearted guy who feels bad for his actions and wants to be loved by Orlando fans.

Didn’t he hit the game winner that game or was that during his second return? He’s hit at least 2 game winners in his returns to Toronto.

Had to get extra security for Lebron’s return.

They need to get rid of this kind of stuff. Unless its 4th quarter with 2 minutes remaining, off-ball players shouldn’t be fouled for the sake of missing FTs. Waste of every fan’s time.

Considering the Heat blew them away that game, I don’t think he suffered much.

  • roscoe

    good point…

  • LP

What did Melo bum*** do when he went back to cleveland?
