OKC Thunder Drop 71 First Half Points on the Lakes (VIDEO)

An unstoppable offensive attack.

Though the Los Angeles Lakers made things interesting midway through the fourth quarter, it was clear from the beginning that they had run into a buzzsaw and would not survive. The OKC Thunder jumped on their foes early and often, posting a season-high 71 points in the first half (while only coughing up the rock twice the whole game, which is an NBA record).

IF the Lakers would make the playoffs, against which team would they rather play?
    Spurs, OKC or Clips?

  • Ken

Someone explain to me how the Lakers were so much better defensively with Bynum and Fisher, even when we had Mike Brown.

  • Michael

Spurs. Lakers don’t like elite running teams with multiple finishers like OKC and Clips.

    Clippers,no real road games,no Westbrook/Parker against Nash/Kobe.

    only 2 turnovers is insane

The Clippers so they can pack for summer vacation as the series goes on.

Kinda what I was thinking lol.

Mike Brown is a great defensive coach.

Thunder/Durant and Heat/LeBron both peaking for an epic finals showdown

Dwight Howard plays like he is in quick sand.

Being from Texas I’d like for them to play the Spurs so I can go to a game. I also think they’ll matchup better when Gasol comes back.

Mike Brown…but also Dwight Howard is still not 100%…next year (if he takes the offseason seriously) he should be back to his old form

that was such a fun game to watch. really hope to see that as a first round matchup and the thunder in the finals again.

the Spurs, they are just as old if not older than the Lakers. That would definately be their best shot. Idk if Dwight will be guarding Duncan, but DHs athleticism or lack thereoff won’t be completely voided by Duncan’s old man game imo. I think overall in a 7 game series that Dwight still can wear down an older Duncan.

I’m a Big Thunder fan but I don’t see the Thunder beating the Heat. Don’t get me wrong I would love to. But Lebron is too …. well…Lebron.

Yes, it would be epic. I think the Heat are favorites, but not prohibitively.

thunder cant beat the heat in the finals. You cant beat them shooting jumpers. There are always going to be ups and downs shooting jumpers. wont be able to stay consistent.
