Last night, during the third quarter of the Indiana Pacers’ 111-90 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Paul George shook his man baseline and met a daring Tyler Zeller at the rim. Sorry, rook.

    Isn’t he one of the only people in the NBA who’s wingspan is shorter than their height?

    growing up i had a teamate who was notorious for having short arms, everyone still calls him t-rex. true story

    Just checked, he’s 7’0.5″ with shoes and his wingspan is 7′.
    But his standing reach is just 8’8.5″, which is supershort for a center.

    Blake Griffin’s got short arms as well. At the combine he was listed at 6’8 without his sneakers (6’10 with them) with a 6’7 wingspan.

    don’t get me wrong, as a fan of the game, it was an incredible dunk. but as a player, regardless of how amazing it was, i have more respect for guys like zeller, brandon knight, and jason terry that try to make the defensive stop. i respect guys that get dunked on and still play on.
