Carmelo Anthony Takes Scoring Lead Over Kevin Durant (VIDEO)

The race for the scoring title is coming down to the wire.

By leading the New York Knicks to their 12th straight win—an impressive 125-120 road victory against the OKC Thunder—Carmelo Anthony also overtook Kevin Durant for the NBA scoring lead. Melo is now .09 PPG ahead of Kevin Durant in a tightly-contested battle for the scoring title.

    thats an mvp worthy season. aint saying that he would win it coz its brons trophy, but given the injury rattled knicks record and his role on that team he doesnt have to hide from durant or paul or bryant even though their numbers may be a bit better.

    i was talking about crediting individual performance, maybe more than the actual mvp debate coz there is no debate at all. thats lebron james’ mvp trophy anything else would be a bad joke.
