Carmelo Anthony Ties Knicks Record With Shooting Clinic (VIDEO)

The Knicks are hot but Carmelo is on fire.

Get this. Over the past three games, Carmelo Anthony has dropped at least 40 points on 60 percent shooting, becoming just the third player in the past 20 years (Michael Jordan and Bernard King were the others) to accomplish such a feat in three straight games. Now within five-hundredths of a point of Kevin Durant for the scoring crown, Carmelo is trying to become the second Knick to lead the L in scoring, joining King in ’84-85.

A work of art! its a shame that hes not getting the same media coverage as LBJ or Durant. Had they had done this, ESPN and Bleacher Report would have exploded with coverage. Best Scorer in the league imo.

let the haters hate. melo gonna putt work in this playoff…

  • Redd

    There’s a reason he’s not.

Yea the Knicks are catching fire, I used to want my Bulls to intentionally play the Knicks but I’m beginning to regret that wish lol.

my buddy’s half-sister makes $72 hourly on the laptop. She has been fired for five months but last month her pay check was $12806 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read more on  Fab99.com

dont forget that he played quite unefficient for quite a third of the season. he just came back with a blow and now he is back in the headlines. if he played well as bron or durant consistently during the season, he wouldve gotten the same media coverage or even more just for playing for the knicks.

  • danpowers

dont worry that wont happen ;)

  • Redd

    What won’t

  • robb

not enough starpower that’s why, but he’s playing great basketball.

  • Cameron

I’m not really sure why I noticed this, but why does the net swish almost as loud as the announcers talk?

  • danpowers

the knicks wont meet the bulls in the playoffs. the bulls would either have to pass indiana or miami for that, thats what i meant

  • Redd

Ahhh, idk why I thought Knicks were the 3 seed but yeah I’m happy with the Nets.

  • Lloyd

I read that MSG has mics on their nets.

  • danpowers

looks like theyre pretty much logged as the 2nd seed now. but im quite happy they wont meet the bulls coz ur team is too much of an enigma. if rose returns come playoff time that could give the team a boost to unknown heights. they r also very physical and can play one or two steps faster than the knicks why i wouldnt even like the risk playing them without rose lol

  • danpowers

coz melos touch lets the ball rotate at a speed that breaks the sonic barrier.

We lost Deng today..we’re not much of a threat to a Knicks team that’s red hot lol don’t worry.

If Melo doesn’t get us, our injuries will. If the Knicks ride this momentum(not saying a streak) then they’re a big threat, bigger than the Pacers.

  • danpowers

my condolences for deng. ok then its pretty much over for that team. even if rose would be able to return as his old self straightaway, the bulls wont go anywhere without deng. good luck for next year then ;)

Melo is a bad bad man. Don’t mess with The Knicks! TAPE!!! http://tinyurl.com/GoingtotheKnicksGame

  • Redd

Well, Butler adequately replaces Deng but our depth is just horrible.

Yeah, this may be the most injury ridden team in the last 3 years.

  • danpowers

he jumps in and plays nicely but thats not a full replacement. to me deng is one of the most underrated players of our time.

uhm… you wanna start a battle about the most injury ridden team now? youre talking to a knicks fan bro! ;)

  • Redd

OH PLEASE You guys have depth out the wazoo..

  • danpowers

    lol

  • danpowers

    lol
