Tobias Harris Forces Overtime With Clutch Three (VIDEO)

Facing his former team, Tobias Harris exploded 30 points and 19 rebounds as he led the Orlando Magic to a 113-103 overtime win against the salty Milwaukee Bucks. Per the Orlando Sentinel: “Harris wasn’t about to take a knee with 11 seconds left. Not against his old team, the Milwaukee Bucks. Harris kept chugging and rammed home a dunk after no Buck, curiously, fouled him on the other end to stop play. Take that. ‘Maybe I’m old fashioned a little bit but I understand the moment and how hard he played to help us get to that position,’ Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said. ‘It stares you in the face that he played for that team, but at the same time, I totally believe there’s respect for the game. But there’s also a youthful excitement about the game also.’ Bucks Mike Dunleavy nudged Harris with an elbow as his former teammate jogged past him, apparently yapping. Dunleavy and Harris each received a technical foul. Harris said after the message-delivering run-out to his old team, ‘That wasn’t personal. I have all the respect in the world for the Milwaukee Bucks, the players on the team, the organization as a whole. As a young player, I have never been in a game toward the end except for this year. When I got the rebound, I thought they were trying to foul and I just pushed it up and didn’t see anybody beside me. So I just decided I’m wide open. I’m going to battle until the game is over. I just wanted them to know that there is no way they were going to come back in this game. Needless to say, I probably didn’t look at the score, so I didn’t know we were up by so much, so for that I apologize to anybody who thought it was disrespectful.'”
