Tony Allen Trips Tony Parker to the Floor (VIDEO)

Yeah, can’t do that.

Having grown desperate in his futile attempts to slow down Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs’ relentless attack, Tony Allen resorted to tripping tactics in the open court. It accomplished little for the Memphis Grizzlies, as Parker finished with a Game 1-high 20 points and 9 assists.

After the first replay I thought, oh ok, Parker is cool, no worries. That second angle though makes it look VERY intentional, and that’s the kind of move that injures players. Uncool by Allen, but I’m glad that Parker was ok about it.

    That what Tony will do.

How would he suffer an injury from that?

yeah i think it was intentional. but TP wasn’t running full speed, by getting a leg pulled out he had to just roll. Almost like a controlled demolition, if he was in a straight sprint, i think it would have been considerably more dangerous.

Damn, that’s something Bruce Bowen would have done.

True. I’m just biased cause some kid did this to me and I was out a couple weeks with a sprained ankle.

Allen is very similar to Bowen.

If Ron Artest had done that to LeBron, he’d get a 1-2 game suspension.

Give me anything what could happen, except for wrists.
