just saw another replay of tony parker’s shot from game 1, definitely double dribble

  • j

    no it isnt.

  • 1982

He kept his dribble alive the whole time, why do you think it was a double dribble?

look at 0.22-0:23 seconds, he touches the ball with both hands and keeps on dribbling. this is not a good clip since it is kind of fast. will see if i can find a slower one. the shot they showed at the pre game on espn made it clear, i didn’t see it until then

Not to take anything away from Bron, but am I the only won who thinks that blaachk is mad overrated?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    depends how you rate it?

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    clearly it is.

  • Max

People calling it one of the best blocks of all time, the block of the year,…
I mean if I would have Lebron strength, I think I would have gotten that aswell.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

ugh, Roy Hibbert has the block of the year….this can be second if it wants.

  • Max

Imo, this isn’t even in Lebron’s top 10 blocks.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

it’s definitely in his top 10, just flat because of the stage it happened.

  • Max

Because of that maybe, but the block itself tho?
It looked like Splitter would maybe have come up short, and he barely got off the ground.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

Nah, Splitter is dunking that ball, look at the still photo of LeBron’s wrist, it’s less than 2 inches from the rim

    It was completeley overrated.
It was a beautif block but Splitter doesn’t have that dunk in him.

I don’t even know why he tried that and from that far… maybe he was trying to pump his team.

It’s funny to read all the mediocre analysts calling that a momentum shifter or what sparkled the Heat to win.
That happened with 8 minutes left and the Heat was winning by 19.

The problem is the game last night had nothing to do with game. It was very sloppy and uniteresting, plus, Lebron had an awful offensive game and with that block, the media that has to sell him all the time had a narrative they need to put him as the superhero he wasn’t.
He was lucky that the Heat team saved him from being down 2-0.

  • Max

Lebron still was the best player on the floor tho.
Especially when they pulled away in the 2nd half.
