Got hit with a cricket ball once. Was about 10 walking thru the school yard as some older dudes in my neighborhood were playing cricket. I heard a loud wack sound and moments later felt a blast of indescribable pain hit my calf. I thought I got shot. I just laid there crying, waiting for the grim reaper to come. Lol.

excuse me sir, but baseball is definitely the most boring game on earth

irving is cooperating with UNICEF in south africa and the content of the headline is him playing cricket? hhmmm….

Bro. I think pretty much every Aussie know exactly what you’re talking about.
    Ouch

  • Interdico Scriptor

Yeah mate. Baseball leaves Cricket in the boring stakes for dead. Cricket is mad fun to play… and you can do it with two people. But I hear u when you say it though, because I’m trying to think of another game that goes for 3 days and ends in a draw.

  • Interdico Scriptor

You obviously don’t know anything about it other than what a search engine tells you. For shame.

I’ve grown up with both; Baseball is complicated in the analysis, but Cricket has more nuances. Fo sho

Cool. I’m better than Kyrie Irving in something.

  • Ugh

They’re bowling from the right hand side of the wicket. That’s not… cricket!

If you’re an Aussie, as a Brit I feel like I should make some sort of joke about the Ashes, but I just don’t have enough interest in cricket to stoop that low…

  • Interdico Scriptor

    Ouch… me neither, but ouch
I’m still guessing it’s warmer here now in Winter in the middle of the night than you, so I’ll take that and walk away.

  • LLC#12

Hahaha, yeah, we’re having the best summer I can remember, and it’s still probably warmer over there. You’ve won this round mate…

  • Shifty

Yeah spinning yarns, and that is from a New Zealander. HA

  • Interdico Scriptor

So you acknowledge I’m better at spinning yarns than K Irving?

Good, because it’s worthy of debate.

  • Interdico Scriptor

    nice one old chap.

Cricket involves a lot of strategy and skill. Unlike baseball it need a lot of persistence and strategical planning. Completely agree with the fact that baseball is quite a bore game!
