Carr is a baller, but he’s just so small. Gonna be extremely tough for him to make in to the NBA. The Crime Stopper is one of the greatest nicknames of all time tho. lol

imo playing in an exhibition tour doesn’t qualify as starting one’s pro career. needs to play in a league game

  • LakeShow

    You’re sadly correct.

It doesn’t seem like 3 inches shorter than a couple NBA players would keep you out of the NBA, but when your comparing that to Nate Robinson, and Isaiah Thomas…. it’s worrisome.

He’s pretty slim too, he doesn’t have the build or athleticism like Nate to put him over the top.

I’m pretty sure I could watch highlights of this kid for 24 straight hours.

  • Patrick

And that’s just offensively. I’m rooting for him so hard, but he would never be able to guard any of the PG’s in the L

  • Tyrone Curtis Bogues

Look at what Nate was able to do in the playoffs last year. This kid is just a pup, expect him to get stronger defensively with time. I don’t see why he can’t be a similar player to Robinson.

I love to see this kind of sh*t,,,, this kid has major heart and is breaking major barriers. Word up. I’m rooting for him hard. Anything is possible
And crime stopper is top 2 the best nicknames I’ve ever heard.

He will be NBA material, if he is not already.
    In my opinion.
And he is a brilliant athlete.
    He’s dunking and he’s 3 feet tall…

  • bubblecat

He’s 3 inches taller than Muggsy, and Muggsy averaged 29 minutes per game over 14 seasons.

He is a different player to Nate in most respects though. 100% better passer and see’s his teammates through every stage of the game. This guy’s ceiling will be capped by which ever NBA team he gets to play for. He could be an allstar purely because of popularity…. I expect though that his niche could be perhaps the greatest player off the bench of all time. Imagine him coming off the bench your team down by 7….
6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. He comes on 1 jumpshot, 2 layups and 3 assists later your back in the locker room at half time up by 5. He def. Is one of those “momentum players”. Will get the home team out of their seats and can deflate visiting arenas instantly…
    -2 cents worth -

I think Manu has that “best off the bench of all time” award on lock.

971 games played. Started 400 of them.
169 Playoff games. Started 85 of them.
7 allstar appearances…. all off the bench. :-)
The original ‘Worm’ sets the bar…..
    The Crime Stopper. Got. Next.

How many Muggsy’s have we seen tho, he’s a rare player. And I’m pretty sure one of Muggy’s thighs weighs more that Aquille. Muggy’s was a pure point, Aquille is a scorer/slasher. Other than them being short, they’re hardly comparable.

Mugsy was also a top 3 defensive point guard…..Carr is nothing like him.

  • The Philosopher

You have not lost a step.
    At all. Lol…
