Kevin Durant Drops 42 Points on the Utah Jazz (VIDEO)

OKC Thunder superstar Kevin Durant opened up the season in style, scoring 42 points with the usual array of silky jumpers and drives to the hoop. KD sealed the 101-98 win over the Utah Jazz with a pair of free-throws with 6.4 seconds to go.

42 points with 22/24 FT, otherwise he shoot 9/24 and 2/8 from 3, highlight video ftw.

Jalen Rose might be right – KD will average 38 ppg until Russ comes back,

If he can average 20+ fts rest of the way,he probably could.

42…on the road! That boy good! (Should we thank Maya Moore!?!)

he won’t shoot 20+ FTs every game but no doubt he is going to shoot better from the field. And he will shoot 12-16 FTs a game anyway

The Dirk working good for him.
I can def see him getting 35+ ppg as long as Westbrook stays out.
