Using a pair of quick dribbles, Carmelo Anthony breezed by Earl Clark and elevated for a two-handed crush on Tyler Zeller’s dome.

Melo plays below the rim so much its kind of shocking when he dunks. lol. And every time he faces up and does that little jab, he travels. Not a big “gain an advantage” travel, but he moves that pivot foot almost every time.
travel or not, he is extremely quick of that head fake and jab. it’s like they should know by now that it’s coming but he still gets by the defender every time it feels like
My friends always call him fat because he plays below the rim an shoots jumpers. I tell them everyone can’t be a Lebron or Blake. He makes up for lack in athleticism with quickness and counter moves. They’re starting to call that travel on Melo more than I remember in recent years though.
He’s deceptively quick. Bigger forwards fear the jumper so they play up on him and before you know it he’s gone.
Lol, he’s always gonna have that baby fat. I actually think he has above average athleticism, that’s just not his game. Kinda like how Andre Miller would sneak a dunk in on a 7 footer randomly, but 99% of the time he’s beating you in the post with lay ups.
Iso Melo for the rare dunk.
WAS THAT A SIGNAL?!? was that double pump of the ball towards his back a signal to let the point shaving defense begin?!?
